1. Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is by far, the best tourist attraction in Ontario. The central part of the falls lying in between the USA and Canada called the Horseshoe Falls to make the majestic wall of water in the middle of the world’s largest waterfall. The magnificent view of the huge drops is in itself a treat. For an even better experience, come at night to see it in bright colors, or take a trip to the inside of the falls and hear the rumble of the cascading from behind the sheet of water.

2. CN Tower, Toronto

CN Tower is not only among the iconic Ontario sights to see but also the landmark of Canada. The towering 553 meters look over the entire cityscape of Ontario’s most important city Toronto. From the LookOut Level or the Sky Deck, one can have brilliant views of the entire city. The Edge Walk is an adventure activity to do here, where the visitors are attached with harness and can walk around the extreme end of the outer edge of the tower from around 346 meters.

3. Parliament Hill, Ottawa

Ottawa, the capital of Canada, also falls under the province of Ontario. Although Toronto tops the list of cities in Ontario when it comes to tourism, Ottawa too has its share to offer. Sightseeing here begins with a visit to the Parliament Hill by the Ottawa River. The Peace Tower rises for more than 90 meters between the Senate and the House of Commons. During the summer, one can witness the Change of Guards ceremony in the lawn. Visit on July 1 to see some majestic celebrations of the Canada Day.

4. Marine Land, City of Niagara Falls

The city surrounding Niagara Falls, and known by the same name has one of the best attractions in Ontario. One can spot killer whales, dolphins and sea lions, as well as arctic marine and land creatures like walruses, seals, and polar bears. The complex has the world’s highest triple tower ride – Sky Screamer, which takes the ride up to 137 meters before dropping to the ground.

5. Thousand Islands, St Lawrence River

Once it was a hunting ground for pirates and bootleggers; now one of the best places to visit in Ontario over a weekend. Thousands Islands is perfect to spend a couple of quiet nights in the many cottages and take boat trips or cruises through the granite-shelf islands here.
