My recent tour of Sikkim was a pleasant experience overall. The natural beauty of the region is truly breathtaking — from the serene hills of Gangtok to the peaceful charm of Pelling and the stunning views of Tsomgo Lake. The cool weather in June offered a refreshing break from the heat elsewhere. While the itinerary was well-planned, a few aspects could have been better managed, such as cab services and travel coordination. Some places felt a bit rushed. That said, the warmth of the locals and the unique culture made up for the minor inconveniences. Sikkim is definitely worth visiting for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful getaway. With a little more attention to logistics, the experience could easily be excellent.

Hello Backtoholidays, We recently had a trip to Gangtok sikkim with the help of Travel assistant Preeti Sharma from Backtoholidays. The planning and execution were done very well. We have covered almost all the places as per the plan. Preeti was very helpful from the start of planning to trip till the end. She has provided all the required information what ever we have asked for. There was a surprise for my husband on father's day from my son side Preeti conducted it very well. Coming to the trip, had a really good time. 1st hotel at Gangtok was very good. Room was not so spacious but the staff, manager and every member were so co-operative and the food was very nice. The 2nd hotel at Pelling Sila Norphel was worst. Room was nice but the food and the staff deserve 0 rating. I know this was a budget hotel. But it can be little more better. Driver travelled along with us was also good and no issues.Thanks Preeti for all ur support during this period of journey. Nathula pass journey was the best...

Sikkim being a new destination and with family along you had ensured that we could focus on enjoyment and had not to worry about any logistics ( hotels or travel ). We look forward to our continued association with future products. Needless to mention it was more than just a customer and services provider relationship, you made us look like a family. Thanks for the wonderful efforts put down in selection of hotel / destination and cabs. Overall a very good experience. Very good and caring cab drivers,. especially Mr Manish Rai and not to forget the Cab vendor owner Mr Ashutosh who drove himself and came alongwith us to Pelling ensuring that we have a good experience. Another experience to mention that our calls to you and your team never went unannswered even at late nights, so that we get what we want.

Had a memorable trip of Sikkim (Gangtok, Pelling, Lachen, Lachung). Mr. Prashant Singh organized the trip nicely. On the day of arrival, we reached Siliguri quite late than ETA so it was not possible to reach Gangtok. But, Mr Prashant managed to provide temporary hotel in Siliguri instead. That was good. Lachen and Lachung trips were excellent, driver was also very nice. Gangtok trip was also very good. Had some up-downs for Peilling trip, as hotel voucher was not working and had to switch hotel for 2nd day. Driver was not paying for parking despite inclusion of parking fees. Though it was refunded later by travel agent. One point of improvement would be, they out source the traveling and sometimes drivers are on 3rd or 4th sub-contract so, issues like timing, parking fees etc. arises, if this could be taken care then it would be good. We Had great experience, everything was well managed and thanks to travel Agent Ayushi she managed everything very well and reverted in a optimistic way , i was in Gangtok and i was about to leave for Lachen but suddenly i was informed by locals of land sliding issues there and i quickly informed that to Ayushi and she changed my itinerary and adjusted everything as per my convenience. Gangtok and Pelling was too good . Specially Gangtok if you are willing to cover sikkim add Gangtok on Top of the list there is so much to explore there and you guys will have a good experience.

We had an okay experience with our travel partner Unexplored Trip during our Sikkim-Darjeeling tour. However, we’re giving a 3-star rating due to the following reasons: The itinerary was planned entirely by the travel partner, but it missed two major attractions: Char Dham Temple and Buddha Park. These are famous spots and could have been easily added with just a small 2-hour detour on the way from Gangtok to Pelling. That day had no other sightseeing planned, just travel and rest at the hotel. We ended up paying ₹2000 extra to the cab driver to visit these places ourselves. As tourists unfamiliar with the area, we didn’t even know about these spots until we were already there — and it was too late to change plans since we had already paid in full. A local travel expert like them should have included these in the original itinerary. We had different cab drivers for each location, and the travel partner didn’t share their details in advance. We had to call the cab provider every day to ask who would pick us up the next day. This should have been handled by the travel partner. Hotel confirmation vouchers were not shared with us in advance either. We had to call and follow up multiple times to get them. This made the trip more stressful than it needed to be — which defeats the purpose of booking through a travel partner. On a positive note, the booking platform Travel Triangle was very helpful and quick in assisting us whenever we faced issues with Unexplored Trip.

I have booked the trip to Gangtok, Pelling & Darjeeling... The hotel of Gangtok & Pelling was good and driver and site seeing was also very good but the Hotel of Darjeeling and Driver both was very irritating and very bad

Recently we had booked our Sikkim-Darjeeling trip with Jeremy travel. It was a great service given to me. Mr.DIPAM of Jeremy travels arranged our itinerary superbly and smoothly. During my trip, He was regularly in my touch. Every day he called and taken updates of my tour progress. He is a very humble and helpful person. Hotels provided @ Sikkim,north sikkim, pelling and darjiling were very nice and all hotels location were superb. The cab drivers were allocated to me @ sikkim, North sikkim and darjiling were superb and knowledgeable about the area. The service provided of cab drivers were superbly. We had a comfortable ride with them. Only one thing disappointed me was weather of pelling. It's totally fog weather so Kanchenjunga view was not show properly. I would really suggest others to travel with Jeremy Travel. North sikkim

I would first put down by not so good experience.The trip started with a heartbreak; as North Sikkim was closed due to landslide (not in our control) - the third party agent then worked around and presented the plan for Darjeeling and Kalimpong - the first night at Darjeeling hotel was not per my requirements - too small room and it in no way was a 3 star hotel. The transfer vehicles were agreed to be either Dzire or Innova/ Xylo however the agent was not fully aware about it. My transfer was delayed from Darjeeling to Pelling due to unavailability of vehicle, they sent me the vehicle at 2 pm and that ruined the whole day - my sightseeing of Pelling for 1st day was not possible as the vehicle came in late and we reached Pelling at around 7-7:30 pm. I had escalated the situation to Travel Triangle representative who was very cold and never responded to my concern. Attached is the snap of lack of responsiveness of Travel Triangle representative. I am very disappointed with Travel Triangle representative's approach, they had left us on the mercy of the travel agent and had never coordinated with me. This was a very bad experience; my previous 3 experiences were much better. Based on this experience with travel triangle I would never recommend my friends and family to get services from them. It is a waste of money to have them; it would be rather better to directly connect with a travel agent and pay less to them.
