By Bus: Bus is another convenient way to travel to Solan from Shimla. Buses run by Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) run on a daily basis and take around 1 hour 15 mins to reach Solan from Shimla. The bus fare ranges from 80 INR to 90 INR for a non-ac seater bus. The pickup point of these buses in Shimla is Shimla ISBT Tutikandi which directly takes you to Solan.
