Best Time to Visit
The Maldives has the benefit of being in a location where the weather is pleasant all year round. The temperature never rises above 35 degree Celsius and never drops below 21 degrees! The humidity is tolerable, despite going up during the summer months. The only problem is that during the rainy seasons— which lasts from October to December, the Island is torrented by heavy rain and showers which may make the water choppy and may put a dampener on your vacation.
Thus, the best time to visit the island is between April and November, when temperatures are pleasant and the season is dry, which means your vacation will be the most enjoyable. However this is also that peak season, when all tourists want to visit the Maldives, which means that booking will be harder and prices may be steeper than other times of the year. But we promise it is worth it! Travelling to the Maldives during the dry season means that you can take part in activities on the beach which will not be possible during the rain.
How to Reach?
To reach the Maldives you can take two routes— through air or through sea.
By Air
If you travel by air, you will have to land in the capital city Malé, which has the country's only international airport which receives flights from all over the world as well as most major cities in India. taking a flight is the most recommended route to travel to the Maldives as it is comfortable and does not take too long. If you book your tickets well in advance you may even get a cheaper price than expected. Booking tickets offer short notice of time means that it expensive to make sure you plan before hand!
By Sea
Travelling by sea can be tedious, long and uncomfortable what is generally not recommended. But if you are the type of person who enjoys the scenery on the sea and likes to travel by ship, then prepare yourself for three days on the sea and book a ship!
