Timings Of Skandagiri Hills

The alluring Skandagiri Hills are open to tourists for all parts of the year. However, the best time to visit Skandagiri is between the winter months of November to January as the surrounding greenery and hills offer picturesque views in the winter dawn. One can visit the hills for trekking also during the summer months.

The Skandagiri Hills are famous for its night time trekking. Hence, the trek usually begins after its dark and continues till first light. The sun rising from the misty clouds is one view which drives people from all parts of the to come and visit this magical place.

Kukke Subramanya Temple is a Hindu temple with an idol of Kartikeya, a Hindu lord of all serpents. It is believed that on being threatened by Garuda, Vasuki, a divine serpent and various other serpents found refuge in this temple. Skandgiri temple timings are 6:30am to 1:30pm and 03:30pm to 08:00pm.
