How To Reach Agalega in Mauritius

Since tourism is yet to soar in the Agalega Islands, there are very limited means to reach the island. Visitors now go there only on administrative or academic purposes and can avail the Dornier plane off the coast guard or the ship Pride Mauritius which casts anchor 500 meters from the coast to refuel. The airstrip on the north island is meant for small and private aircraft to date. One needs prior permission from Ministry of External Affairs and Immigration at Port Louis to go to Agalega.

    All is good, but some places we visited was useless like temple as a Muslim we hv nothing to do there. Ship factory has nothing interesting.. they took us to their shop to make us buy stuff... and the tour guide was very quite. He did not explain anything unless I ask.

    We stayed in hotel Solana beach..We cld not get proper Indian veg food.This hotel is not suitable for Indians ,even on order they don't know how to cook Indian dishes..We were to fly to Mauritius on 4th June but just 2 days before our journey when I put my PNR no on airline sight ,it showed our flig
    ht on 6th June and return on 8th. So in the nick of time tour manager got it changed for 6th and 9th.But bcos of this I had to undergo lot of stress and we cld not get direct flight even on one side journey View from hotel was very good.Site seeing on all the three days was very good.Cab drivers were very punctual and courteous
