How To Reach Blue Bay in Mauritius

While being anywhere in Mauritius, if you wish to reach the Blue Bay, you have to head towards Mahebourg which is just a few kilometers from the airport. For this purpose, a car, taxi or a bus can be availed as per the convenience. After reaching Mahebourg, it is up to your wish how you want to travel ahead. You may reach Blue Bay in just a few minutes if you take the taxi while if you prefer a pleasant walk along the Pointe d’Esny, it would take you approximately 45 minutes. There is another option of boarding a bus from Mahebourg that will stop at the bus stop right next to the beach.

    We had a very nice experience in Mauritius. The agent informed us about everything in advance so it was a breeze. The resort was very nice and the only thing missing was good food. They have indian options but very bland. Use salt generously and carry packaged aachar packets with you. We had a shar
    ed transport and fortunately our pickup was always last to we got plenty of time in the morning. Check that with your agent while booking or you can opt for private transfer. Most places accept cards without any charge but some places (mostly activities) charge a 3.5% premium on card. If you want all cash probably carry around 15k cash in MUR more if you want to enjoy all activities. Overall a very nice experience. Recommended things to do: Do undersea walk and the signature zip line (1.5 kms)
