Rochester Falls can be reached by car or taxi from Souillac, which will take you to the base of the access points. From here, there are two ways you can go – one to the top and another to the bottom. The route to the top will take you through a vast sugarcane field and the way to the bottom is a bit of a rough ride with stony paths.

Overall a great trip, except for the following: Pickup cab was missing, there was no one with the placard at the airport. One driver even made me load the luggage and then asked me to unload it as he didn't have enough seats. No drinking water bottle provided anywhere - during meals at hotel, transf

er cabs and during the tours. Most tours end at 4-5pm and dinner starts at 7pm only, it's important for the hotel to provide some fruits / snacks at the room for full board booking.
