The hotel in Guwahati was not good. The hotel room window was broken and there wasn’t any hot water. The second hotel was great. The waterfalls and the caves were amazing.

To start with Nikita from Reify would buildup so much that you would be expecting a trip of lifetime, but realty would be much different. Even the very basics wont be shared with you. Neither by your agent nor by the driver. We landed in Guwahati around 10:40 am and driver took us to the Kamakhya Devi Temple around 11:30 am. No one informed us that the line in Temple would take 4-5 hours and there is an VIP Darshan pass too which would hardly take an hour or so for darshan. We get out after darshan by 5 PM and reached Ghat for visiting Umananda Temple, but last ferry to leave was at 3:30 pm which was again neither told by agent not driver. Due to which we could not visit Umananda Temple. Similarly, due to excessive time taken for darshan we missed all our points to visit as per itinerary for the day. Next we asked agent to plan and suggest time to leave hotel as this doesn't repeat again. But as expected I was told to plan as I wish and no inputs again from her. Before booking we were to stay in Betelnut Resort, but once booking had been done, we were told it is sold out and was suggested to stay in camping on the same package cost as it was for resort. We were in the impression that it is resort owned and run so it would be similarly good. But to our shock it was a low grade camping experience, not even run by resort. And even the cost was very low as confirmed by fellow campaigners. Pl note Vodafone sim do not work in Meghalaya specially near campaigning sites, again which was not informed to us by the agent. And both our mobiles were dead for entire 24 hours. Overall the trip was OK, but could had been better if agent would have focused of little things & could had been planned better. Not to forget driver was good in nature and took us to every possible place we mentioned without any problem.

We were traveling for the most part of our Meghalaya trip, and the itinerary was not very good. Even with the few constraints we had, it could have been planned better—most of the places we reached by the day's end and could not enjoy at all. The hotel in Cherapunji (which was changed - we booked for something else) had its kitchen closed and it wasted a lot of time during the previous day night (as we had to take dinner somewhere else and it is not very easy to find many restaurants in Cherapunji) and breakfast was not given (only tea/coffee and bread-butter were given). As per the Traveltriangle, do not expect them to give you any time after the trip booking. Keep calling or sending emails but they will not at all respond to you.

We have been quoted for 3star Hotel but except Hotel Blueberry In of Shillong we did not find rest 2 hotels up to the mark. Landmark wood property is good but Room and services are not at all satisfactory . Does not have proper lighting, hot water, telephone was not working and in TV there are very limited channels NO KIDS CHANNEL AT ALL. 3 night lamps were lit inside the room and only source for the lighting. Also Hotel of Cherrapunji does not have hot water in their Tap , hot water provided in the bucket Cab which was provided does not have carrier at the top so he had to keep our partial luggage on the seat which make our drive uncomfortable. Beauty of Assam n Meghalaya is awesome, mesmerising natural beauty is the main attraction.

I Planned a 3 days trip to Cherrapunjee from 11th to 13th of May...After evaluating a lot of options, booked it with Shashi from Offbeat Roads...Since i have already visited Cherrapunjee before so i wanted to customise the trip according to my convenience and Shashi was really prompt and replied to all my queries.The hotel stay at Saimika was wonderful and the property has an awesome view of the river.Only there was one problem ,though we have paid the whole payment in advance before the starting of the trip but the driver complained about his payment not done even after 2 days of the completion of the trip...When the driver told us this on first day of our trip...we have been assured by Shashi that it'll be paid on the same day...But still we got a call from the driver that it is not being paid....I don't understand that even after paying in advance for everything why we have to deal with all this after the trip is over.....This was not expected from Travel triangle and Off beat roads.

The overall trip was well organized and we are happy. However there were few issues like below: 1) In the itenerary, we were told by the driver to visit cellular jail. It was not there in the itenerary. 2) The driver in Havelock was little late in responding to calls, picking up on time. He even did not drop us in the harbour while leaving Havelock. 3) In the itenerary, it was mentioned that after coming back to Portblair, the driver would take us to palm beach and carbyn cove beach. But as per the itenerary, we reached Andaman at 5.30pm. By that time, the beaches would have already closed. Wrong communication to the customers. 4) The driver did not know that there is a beach called palm beach which was mentioned in our itenerary. Again misleading the customers. Apart from this, the journey was smooth.

We booked a family trip with TT.. Trip was amazing. This was our first experience with TT and it was good. TT connects you with atleast three travels agents so that you get very competitive quotes and you can customise your paclage according to your choices. Travels agents were always there for you and very cordial.. I booked meghalaya trip with Hill Dekho( Our agent Mr. Raja was very nice) and it was very well organised. I would specially like to mention Our cab driver and Guide Rupam bhai. He made our trip safe and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Travel triangle for vacation packages.

Travel agent was very nice and courteous. They were also available whenever needed. However, they were not as well coordinated as my earlier experiences with TravelTriangle. In every trip, driver was like the second tour guide. Driver and the travel agent would be in perfect sync WRT itinerary, hotels experience etc. In this trip, the driver had not met the agent even once. The same was true with hotels booked. They did not even recognize the travel agency name. As a side effect, we had several confusions including our pickup times, right places to visit on right days etc. I personally had to do sufficient research while on the trip to readjust plans, schedules etc. Another example is the last place we stayed in Tawang. While people were really nice and helpful. Agent did not seem to know that there were road closures and road repairs to reach this place from a month. We reaching there at night and struggling by ourselves to find this place was exhausting to say the least. I also expected better tour plan suggestions from the agent and alternatives. Looks like many things were taken for granted. Arunachal pradesh as a place is a beauty! Loved every place we visited. Struggled a bit with clean food options during road travels, especially we being vegetarian, but that was ignorable. Despite all this, it was a memorable trip and I will use TravelTriangle again, but will have to be more careful about agent's experience and involvement. We booked tour to Shillong. Cab was outsourced to another company. Etios & its driver Jayant Das were great. He was a very safe driver. Hotel Eee Cee in Shillong was the best. It was right in the center on Police Bazaar. Rest of the itinerary was crafted by me & the driver took us at all the places without any fuss.

The trip to kaziranga was little early as elephant ride was put on halt. More days stay at cherrapunjee and mawsinram can be planned. All people were very friendly . Bon fire at la kupar inn was memorable. The driver mr gautam was very sharp on time always cooperative. Thanks to indeman travels to plan for the trip. Cherapunjee was best stay Mawlinnong village is best site to visit. All the falls were great.
