Complete the immigration & custom formalities after which you will be transferred to your hotel in Thimphu. Buddha Point: The Buddha Dordenma statue in Thimphu is among the most popular tourist attractions in Bhutan. Perched high in the Himalayas, the 51-m tall statue of Buddha is made of bronze and gold. This statue which was made in China and then cut into pieces and shipped to Bhutan, emits peace and happiness in the entire country.

Bhutan Textile Museum: The National Textile Museum was established in 2001 and is operated by the National Commission for Cultural Affairs. The museum was set up to promote Bhutan’s achievements in the field of textiles and to sustain traditional weavers and traditional textile patterns.

National Library: Your second stop for the day is the National Library of Bhutan. Built in 1967 to preserve and promote the rich culture of Bhutan, the library houses traditional texts and sacred religious books. Visit this architectural splendour and breathe in the smell of old books.

After a day of historic sightseeing, you will be transferred to Paro, the little town on the west of Thimphu. Enjoy a delicious dinner and head back to your hotel in Paro for a relaxed stay.
