Five nights is enough for Bali if you stay on the south coast and make one trip north, and that is how this package runs. Kuta is about 15 minutes from the airport and carries the two inland days. Nusa Dua gives you calm water and a slower finish. Add a night if you want Nusa Penida as well.

Bali 5 Nights 6 Days Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Bali, Transfer to Kuta

Your driver meets you at arrivals at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar and takes you on the short private transfer to Aryaduta Bali, about 15 minutes away on Jalan Kartika Plaza. Bali runs 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, and most routes from India are long or involve a connection, so nothing is planned today. The hotel connects straight to Lippo Mall Kuta, which is the easy answer for a first dinner, and the rooftop pool is there if you would rather stay in. If you land by mid-afternoon, Kuta Beach is a short taxi ride away for the sunset, which falls between about 6 pm and 6:45 pm depending on the month.

Day 2: Kintamani, Mount Batur View and Ubud Village

Leave after breakfast, at about 8 am, because this is the long day. Your private driver takes you north, about 2 hours 15 minutes from Kuta, to the Kintamani ridge. From here you look across the caldera to Mount Batur, an active volcano, with Lake Batur below it. The tour stops at Pura Ulun Danu Batur, the ridge's main temple, so carry a sarong or use one at the gate. Lunch is at your own cost, and most ridge restaurants face the crater.

On the way back the road drops through Tegallalang to Ubud village, where you get time at the art market and the craft streets around it. If you want the Sacred Monkey Forest, tell your driver at breakfast, as the last entry is 5 pm and the ticket is yours to pay. You are back in Kuta by early evening.

Day 3: Bali Swing at Tegallalang and Couple Spa

After breakfast your driver takes you to Aloha Ubud Swing on Jalan Raya Tegallalang, about 1 hour 45 minutes each way from Kuta. You are harnessed in and swing out over the valley, and staff take the photographs if you hand over your phone. Plan on about two hours here, then ask your driver for a short stop at the Tegallalang rice terraces nearby.

Back in south Bali, your afternoon is the one-hour spa for a couple that comes with this package when you book. Prefer less time in the car? Ask your agent to fold the swing into Day 2 and use today for a south Bali outing instead.

Day 4: Kuta to Nusa Dua, Free Afternoon

Check out after breakfast and take the private transfer to Ulu Segara Luxury Suites & Villas in the south of Nusa Dua, about 40 minutes away. The hotel sits on its own stretch of coast, away from shops and restaurants, so this is the day to slow down. Most rooms look at the ocean. Nothing is scheduled after check-in.

This is also the best slot for the Uluwatu add-on. The clifftop temple is about 40 minutes from the hotel, and the Kecak fire dance starts around 6 pm in the amphitheatre above the sea. Tickets cost around IDR 150,000 (about Rs 800) per person, and temple entry is separate, as our Uluwatu Temple entry fee guide explains. Ask your agent to price the evening transfer on your quote, with a seafood dinner at Jimbaran on the way back if you want it.

Day 5: Jet Ski, Banana Boat and Flying Fish

This morning is for the water. After breakfast you take a shared transfer to Tanjung Benoa, the calm strip at the top of the Nusa Dua peninsula where Bali's watersports operators work. Mornings are the flattest and least crowded, so aim to be there by 9 am. You get three rides. On the jet ski you are out with an instructor if you have not ridden before. The banana boat is towed behind a speedboat, and the flying fish is the one that lifts you off the water as the boat pulls. Everyone wears a life jacket on all three, so non-swimmers can ride too. Tell the crew if you are nervous. Parasailing and sea walking are sold on the beach at extra cost.

You are back at the hotel by early afternoon with the pool and the rest of the day to yourself.

Day 6: Departure from Nusa Dua

Have a slow breakfast, then check out and take your private transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport, about 30 minutes away outside rush hour. Leave three hours before your flight, or a little earlier on a weekday evening when the Bali Mandara toll road and the airport road fill up. If your flight is late, ask for late check-out on your quote or have the driver stop at Krisna Oleh-Oleh for snacks and sarongs at fixed prices. Neither hotel is more than an hour from the airport, so you have some room if the traffic is bad.

Days 1 to 3: Aryaduta Bali, Kuta. Jl. Kartika Plaza, beside Lippo Mall Kuta. Direct access to the mall, a rooftop pool, a pool bar and a kids pool, and about 15 minutes by road from Ngurah Rai airport. Waterbom Bali is about a 15-minute walk.

Days 4 and 5: Ulu Segara Luxury Suites & Villas, Nusa Dua. Jl. Raya Nusa Dua Selatan. An ocean-facing suite and villa property, where most rooms have a sea view. It is quiet and set apart, so you will rely on the hotel's restaurant or a short taxi ride for dinner.

What This Package Really Costs Per Person

Rs 19,990 is the land price. A traveller from India should plan on about Rs 70,000 to Rs 99,000 per person for this trip once flights and daily costs are added, and more in peak weeks. The flight is the biggest swing, so your departure city and month matter more than anything else on this table.
