Bhutan is the Buddhist Kingdom officially known as the Kingdom of Bhutan located at the eastern edge of the Himalayas. The country is famous for its monasteries, fortresses, and the unique landscapes that consist of plains, mountains, and valleys.           First of all, thanks to Trip Trova for helping me with such a wonderful, hassle-free tour. Your representative Nitesh was very helpful and informative from the day I booked it. I must also mention my guide Ugyen and driver Chencho during the time I spent in Bhutan. Both of them are lovely and approachable persons. I knew earlier that Bhutan is not for budget travellers and the cost for travel is at higher side. But the serenity and beauty of Bhutan helped me forget it for the days I was there. I am not a trekking enthuciastic person but still could manage to complete my Tiger nest trek, a big achievement from my part. Bhutan is a beauty, the hills, the rivers, the colorfully dressed people, the greenary, will always remain in my mind. Thimphu is probably the cleanest city I will ever visit. The Buddha dordenma statue on top of the hill, Dochu La scenic view and Punakha Dzong ambience are the top three sites I would always cherish to recall. The hotels I stayed were good. Not sure why they offered so much food to me everytime. The food was great, I tried my best to finish as much as I could do. The car ride was very comfortable throughout. I am happy that I made this tour. End of the day, this is what that matters most.

          My trip to Bhutan was very spontaneous. I had less than a week to plan the trip and make all my bookings. I decided to use travel triangle to find an agent as I just used the site before and was happy with the service. The first response I received was from the Bhutan Old Monk team and they were very prompt and helpful. As the trip was very last minute, I had just a few days to plan and arrange everything and the team especially Suman was really helpful with making changes to the itinerary as I needed. Suman was constantly in touch with me to ensure everything was going well. Even while on my vacation they were able to provide me with assistance when needed. Yadop met me on my first day in Bhutan. I requested him to change my hotel as the location wasn't convinient and he got it changed within a few hours. Jeewan was an exceptional driver/guide/photographer/genie (lol) throughout the trip. He was very helpful and even offered to drive me around in the evenings because I was travelling alone and he was afraid I would get bored. My solo trip turned out to be a lot less solo than expected but I really appreciated the hospitality. Bhutan is an amazing and wonderful country that I visited by chance because it was convince to travel to, required no visa and was completely safe for a woman traveling alone. I would encourage more Indian, solo, woman travelers to visit this beautiful country and experience the beauty and tranquility of the land of the thunder dragon!

          I see them (travel trainagle) as just mediator website with no/little knowledge on the destination you are choosing. All that they give you is their authorized vendors ( local travel agent partners) whom you can work with and adjust your trip accordinly. So if you are frequent travellers and you know the tips you could do it better by yourself. the local agent ( Backyard bhutan ) was very good and patient with all my question and set the plan to meet my expectation , but there is nothing much that travel traingle did when other vendors has not given any response.
