Vaibhav's 7 days trip to Karnataka

First of all the trip was good, 2 of 3 resorts were really good. Now coming to the details: either Travel triangle or the agent must be able to guide us about places to visit based on who is on the trip. For example we had 2 senior citizens and 2 kids with us. A lot of places in Wayand and Coorg and not accessible for them and we had to cancel our visits to such places. If Travel traingle is just outsourcing trip management then soon you'll loose significance. To me the surprise was a travel agent in delhi planning a trip to south without knowing much about those places. Next time I will think about using travel triangle. The driver was good but he did not realize that there were old people with us who had difficuly in walking, The hotel coorg heights was good otherwise but had a steep approach, the driver refused to come upto the reception so we had to climb up the slope using stairs each time. When we had to use the toilets at the petrol pump the driver left us away from the toilets when we could have easily left us closer to the toilets. At pookode lake he left us at the parking and made us walk upto the entrance. When we saw vehicles coming upto entrance he started making excuses. Also the driver took us to spice plantations where they get commision - Nisty Coorg - they charge 200 per person for 15 minutes spice tour and then sell you expensive spices giving you all the wrong information. If the agent or travel triangle is not able to control such things then why book with travel triangle.

I recently had trip to mysuru , ooty and Coorg. While my overall trip was enjoyable, there were some aspects of the booking process that left me dissatisfied. One of the best features of my trip was the exceptional service provided by the cab driver.he was punctual, courteous and possessed a thorough knowledge of destinations. We had several issues with the booking agent service provided by travel triangle, there were instances where the agent did not provided things which he promised while booking. About hotels : we didn't liked the hotel from ooty location , there was lack of proper ventilation in room , the absence of natural light and airflow was disappointed. Despite this my journey to mysuru ooty and Coorg was still memorable.

Arrangements was proper made by tour agent (Murali). The driver Uday was driving safely and also took us to good restaurants and shopping markets. In all, everything was best, the tour service is worth to book. Mysore palace is amazing and botanical garden too. The coffee Plantation at Coorg is really nice, as u can get knowledge abt all spices. Ooty rose garden is really nice, worth to visit. From Madikeri u can buy banana fibre saari.

In all tour experience was good. But in coorg resort there was a problem of getting hot water. And there was also problem of power cutting. Generator was not working in night. Cab driver is cooperative. Food service was best in coorg & wyand resort. Coorg & Wynad is a good hill place.

The hotels I chose were good especially the one in Manali but I didn’t change the hotel given by the travel agency in Chandigarh and it was pathetic. The reception lobby was grand but the room was not clean, was dusty and the sink in the bathroom was faulty and water was leaking. Breakfast area was full of water and flies around, glasses were not clean

We had 6 days to cover Mysore, Coorg and Wayanad...in the monsoon season most of the places in wayanad were closed which was not informed by the agent. But thankfully our cab driver was really good and supportive throughout the trip. We ended up spending more time in the remaining places which were functional and in conclusion it was a good trip. I would like to thank our cab driver Baskar for showing us nearby places and good hotels I and my husband would definitely recommend Baskar for any South India trip. River Rafting in Dubare Elephant camp during monsoon was the best...

This is just my honest opinion. The trip was pretty good. The hotels at Mysore (Hotel Villa Park) and Ooty (Mount view Heritage Hotel) were awesome, whereas hotel AL-Wesal International at Coorg was just OK. The staff were nice in the hotels. We are thankful to both Bhuvana and Swami as they were very prompt in replying. But we got disappoint with our driver Umesh, especially the trip to Ooty and Coonoor was a disaster. He was more worried about finishing the day off and saving the fuel. Good part about the driver: Expert in driving. Bad part about the driver: 1. He gives too many advises. For example, the final day was planned for Coonoor in the itinerary and he refused to take us there. We requested him politely but still he had his plans to ignore it. I needed to call the agency on the final day and he got even angry and stubborn with us saying that there is nothing in Coonoor. Then I had to force him to go there. Then we wanted to see tiger hill in Coonoor, which he has only shown us from a distance and refused to take us there. 2. One day we requested him to go to shopping, which was in the itinerary but he refused even we had a good amount of the time left in the day and he took us to hotel around 4 PM. 3. At one of the tea Gardens in Ooty, even he told us to pay the parking charge. Although it was not costly but it shows his insincerity. Although we are happy with the trip, I won't recommend the driver.

I didn't like the stay part at all. Both hotel and resort had caused some pain during my stay. I've written my detailed review of the first hotel in Wayanad. 2nd one also I'll post soon. You guys need to work on realtime data and realtime problem solving. I'll try not to book any package from Travel Triangle.

There are two things very important which is making any trips grateful the one is hotels & location and second one is cabs & drivers. In our case we got very nice cab and driver Mr. Naveen moorti and he served very good services to us and we satisfied with him during our trip also we are thankful to MS Bhargavi from VFM holidays she provided flexibility to us for shuffling our trip dates to one day and she was very polite and manageable. The only thing which we have disappointed the first one thing of hotel and location choosing skill we are not satisfied with hotels at all the places (Ooty,Mysore,Bangalore) except coorg. The banglore hotel was really worst in above all. so they should improve this thing rest of the thing are very good we really enjoyed during our vacation. Thanks VFM.
