Day 1: Delhi to Dalhousie, transfer and evening at leisure

You choose the pickup point, whether that is Delhi railway station, a bus stand, Indira Gandhi International Airport or your home, and our driver meets you and takes you up to your hotel in Dalhousie. After check-in you head out for a first look around: St Andrew's Church and the stone-built St John's Church, both mid-1800s missions, the tiered Panchpula water cascade fed by streams that supply the town, and the Subhash Baoli spring named after Subhas Chandra Bose, who spent time here. The evening is yours to wander Gandhi Chowk and the Mall Road market at your own pace before dinner and the night at the hotel.

Day 2: Dalhousie to Khajjiar and back

After breakfast you drive out to Khajjiar, about an hour away through the Kalatop deodar forest. The saucer of grassland has a small lake at its centre with a floating island of matted weed, a 9-hole golf course around the rim, and horse riding and zorbing for anyone who wants them, with a couple of dhaba-style restaurants for lunch. On the way back you pass Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, worth a short nature walk among the cedars, and you can add Dainkund Peak, the highest point around Dalhousie with a clear-day view over three rivers, or a stop at Chamera Lake for boating. Chamba town, with its old temples and the Bhuri Singh Museum, is a longer add-on for anyone who wants to trade an easy afternoon for a fuller day. Evening is back in Dalhousie, then dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Departure

After breakfast and checkout, our driver takes you back down to your drop point in Delhi, arriving with a couple of days of hill-station memories and, in season, a phone full of Khajjiar photos.

The quoted price of Rs 15,840 per person is on twin sharing in a 3-star hotel. Solo, triple, child and higher-category room rates are worked out on request, and any extra activity you add in Khajjiar or Chamba is charged on top.
