Entry Fee: Indian: INR 50, Foreigner: INR 250

    Timings: 24 hours

One of the most beautiful and popular attractions of Jaisalmer, Sonar Kila or the Jaisalmer Fort is made out of golden sandstones, giving it the illusion of being constructed of gold, especially in the setting sun. The fort was constructed in the 12th century, and is nearly 250 foot tall. It is covered by 30 feet long walls that encircle it completely.

    2. Gadisar Lake

What's special: You can hire a boat here for INR 100 and go for a spin on the lake

    Entry Fee: Free

    Timings: 24 hours

Gadisar Lake is a major attraction in Jaisalmer, and is a hotspot for both locals and tourists. It never dries since it is watered by the Indira Gandhi Canal, and has picturesque ghats all around it. Originally built as part of a water conservation project, the lake is now a popular picnic spot and even a bird watching spot. You can also take a walk around it to really get to know it.

    3. Bada Bagh

What's special: One of the most picturesque locations in the city for portrait shots of the sunrise

Entry Fee: Indian: INR 20, Foreigner: INR 50

Timings: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Distance from City Centre: 6 kms

A beautiful garden complex in Jaisalmer, Bada Bagh is famed for its canopied cenotaphs, which are home to the shrines of various kings of Jaisalmer including Jai Singh II. Lakshmi's 4 days trip to Rajasthan

We had a very good and well planned trip to Rajasthan through the Travel triangle. The service provided by their travel agent was good. They were approachable at any point of time. The vehicle given to us was too good and we enjoyed the trip as we had to spend a lot of time in travel. Our trip was Bangalore to Jodhpur to Jaisalmer to Jaipur via Pushkar. The stay was also arranged well. Only at Pushkar we faced some difficulty as we reached there at 2am and the hotel person was not responding. Nevertheless within an hour we were able to check in. Thanks a lot to Preeti for all the co-ordination. The morning spent at the desert in Jaisalmer with all the activities- the camel ride, jeep safari, the bike that took us through the sand dunes was definitely an exciting experience and the para gliding.

We booked a 3N/4D trip to jodhpur & jaisalmer with Sarang holidays. It was a very last minute decision and we really did not want to spend time &energy into booking & research by ourselves. But Sarang holidays did all of it for us and how? Everything was handled seamlessly and we hardly had anything to complain about. From stay to sightseeing and everything in between, we were taken care of very well. Thank you Sarang holidays for this wonderful experience. Looking forward to more trips with you.

Trip was very good...Hotel and camp selection from nisha was perfect. Kashmir holiday travels provided good rate too. I have only one complain that too with travel triangle, no one from their team was concerned about if my trip ended well or safely. Travel triangle should atleast call between and after the trip. They are concerned only before the booking, as soon as the booking is confirmed no one from their team is going to contact you.
