Harsh's 9 days trip to North East

Not so bad but could be much better, there was lots of miscommunication between the agent and the hotel and car driver. For instance 1) Day 1 we went to Kaziranga, Borgos, we were informed that everything has been booked and paid for but then when we reached at the destination, we had to pay additional charges of 800/- for safari and that too just for a kilometre, for which no receipt was issued. 2. On the itinerary for day 2, we had a wildlife sanctuary scheduled but the driver was not informed of it and we had to skip it because it was not properly planned and we would reached Shilong really late at night in case we had covered it. 3. There was a lot of chaos when we reached Dawki and when we had to travel for Bamboo trek the next day. We travelled on the same route thrice which wasted our time and even the driver became frustrated by it. Though he said that he'll take wherever we'll ask him to but he was really irritated by the fact that he has to drive three times on same route and specially when the area was under construction. 4. Biggest issue we had was when we reached Cherrapunji at 1:00 pm and we had double decker, and rainbow falls to be covered on the same day. When the agent knew that it would take at least 6-7 hours to cover both and it would be a trek, it should have been planned in a way wherein we should have reached Cherrapunji at night a day before so we could have started our trek early morning and could have covered both. But since we reached at 1 in the afternoon, it was not possible to go for rainbow waterfall trek and we had to skip it. Also, it was not informed that rainbow waterfall is in continuation of double decker bridge. 5. I did not like Vintage Inn that was booked in cherrapunji near caves on day 7 of our itinerary. There was no lunch facility when we came back from caves and we had walk all the way to get some food. 6. On the last day of our trip, driver was changed and we got to know this from our driver and agent informed us on Saturday night which was pretty late. 7. Next day, final day we had a checkout at 10 which was properly communicated to the agent and she had to further inform the driver. There was no communication from agent's end to the driver and we were waiting in the hotel lobby till 11:30 which also impacted our itinerary for that day. We had to visit Kamakhya temple and it was not informed that VIP entry is for a limited time and would close at 7:30-8am. When we reached there, it was 6-7 hours of line waiting for darshan. Overall, a lot of communication gap, when agent was pre informed that we are visiting the place for first time, she should have informed about everything in advance so that we could have planned our days accordingly to cover our itinerary. But we had to skip big chunk just because there was no pre information.

Overall: 4.8/5 An extremely enjoyable and unique experience - Reify stands by its name of delivering breathtaking experiences for travellers without any compromise. They made no excuses and never once in the trip did we ever feel disappointed with the choices that they had made for us in travel planning. I have rarely worked with such genuine, well understanding, well planned and highly reliable travel agents in the past. However, do note that it comes with a caveat of premium costs - even before the trip and through the journey, it was quite clear to me that the trip cost was possibly the highest vs any other agent. Hotel - 4.5 /5Nikitha had booked the choicest and best hotels for the trip - during the trip we realised that a lot of these hotels are not available online at all or are in such high demand that they need to be booked over 6 months in advance, but Nikitha ensured she gave us those hotels even though our trip was planned only 1 month in advance. After conversations with others who have done a trip on the same route, I have realised we had some of the absolute best hotels and we would have missed out on some outstanding experiences had it not been for these hotels/stays. Only Betelnut Resort in Dawki was an issue where it was really hot and I had trouble sleeping at night because of the heat. The service in Betelnut Resort was also subpar with an incident of bad behaviour by staff and then forgetfulness regarding orders and late breakfast. Cab -. 5/5The cab was very spacious and well maintained. The driver Jagadish was great, no fuss and on best behaviour and we developed a good camaraderie in the trip. As a suggestion, it would have been better if the cab was equipped with sun shades since a lot of travelling was during daytime. Agent 5/5 Nikitha Chauhan is amazing to work with - she planned our trip very meticulously after understanding our requirements and ensured she covered the right locations, experiences and hotels. She knew the route inside out sitting in Delhi! Nikitha was so genuine that many a times in the planning stage, despite our request for a higher cost hotel, she would ask us to pick a lower cost one because she knew it offerred a better experience, and guess what, she was right every time! During the trip as well, she called us every alternate day to ensure the trip is going fine and that there are no issues.

Excellent services provided by Ms.Nikita Chauhan of Reify for our 15 days trip to Assam Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh from 17th November to 1st December 2022. Right from the enquiry stage till we reaching home, Nikita has been like a holding hand! She planned and customised our trip to fulfill all the requirements given by us and made it a hassle free awesome experience for us. The driver, Gaurishankar Nath, was one of the best drivers we have ever met. We never became apprehensive or uncomfortable with his driving during the entire trip, all in such a difficult terrain. It was a trip planned as per our requirements by Indeman Travel Solutions. Mr Sunny Chaurasia who made it such a great tour. He was in constant touch from the time of planning. The best of the hotels were booked and the Vehicle also was good. The Driver Mr Boaln Daka was great in negotiating the winding roads in Arunachal, his skills were too good on the narrow road to Dwaki and back with heavy dumpers along the route. The trip was overall good. Mr Prabhat was there, assisting throughout to make sure everything falls in place. We faced a small inconvenience from the local agent who tried to change our driver mid-way with another driver who had some behavioural issues with other group of travellers, and thus he was being forced upon us. The other issue being, our Kaziranga safari coincided with the PM's visit. For this the core Kohora region was unavailable that day. We were trying to reschedule our safari bcoz of this to some other day but the local Assam operator assured us that the PM's visit won't interfere with ours, even after us repeated telling him otherwise (media was reporting this 4-5 days prior). Only at the last moment he agreed that our safari won't go as planned and asked us to visit the secondary-bagori range. This caused us some disappointment as we were anticipating this prior. Apart from these 2 hiccups the trip went smoothly. The provided original driver was exceptional and hotels were decent.

It was kinda big 10 days trip that covered so many places.We wanted everything to go as smoothly as possible because we are going in an off-season time. When you don't feel the need to call your trip organizer during your entire trip means that the trip organizer (Nikita Chauhan) did a great job ! Overall very well planned trip. Our contact point ms. Nikitha chauhan was in continuous touch with us throughout the trip and was very very supportive. She has gone beyond what we expected for arranging a darshan at Kamakhya devi temple which otherwise would not have been possible due to Navratri rush. The choice of a few hotels could have been better but on overall basis it was well.planned and executed trip.

Leiki from Brahmaputra was fantastic & very patient while working on the itinerary. I kept making changes to itinerary & she accommodated every request till finalization. I was doing a solo trip by motorcycle & she helped me with arranging for a motorcycle to arranging for activities & stays per my request. During the trip too she called to ensure everything was running as per plan, I was comfortable & suggesting things to try in the vicinity. A huge shout-out to her for her efforts & her pleasing attitude. Would definitely recommend to Brahmaputra to others. If there is one thing Brahmaputra will have to work on; it is their pricing. Not the most cost effective but service was impeccable so I guess that balances it off. As for Meghalaya I would say a must do for every traveller as it offers everything for a solo traveller to a family. The rolling hills, the winding roads & caves are to die for. Overall it was fantastic & memorable trip.

we booked our family trip with Siang Explorer. Since we were travelling with my parents (senior citizens) and child I was worried about going to this place. Thanks to Siang Explorer we had a great time. The itenary designed, arrangements made, vehicle driver everything was good. Though we faced some road blocks due to access rain driver took all the care to ensure we visit maximum places. Tanuka helped us right from start of enquiry of the trip, to selection of appropriate hotels itinerary etc, to giving us very good driver Pranjal, calling us during trip to check on how things were going. Very nicely done. Few things like the staff of Hotel Yangzom in Tawang were not that great, we would have loved to spend 2 days at Nameri Eco Camp but Tanuka had suggested only a day. But apart from this everything went smoothly, everything was pre-booked and well managed. Thanks once again Tanuka for everything. Hope you continue with this standard of service in future as well. IORA Resort in kaziranga is awesome, worth staying 3-4 days. Safaris are too good.
