After this, you will be taken to the Swayambhu Temple. Here, you can witness the breathtaking sight of several colorful flags flowing with the breeze. This place is famous for housing the Buddha with painted blue eyes which is believed to be watching over all the followers who ascend the steps for seeking blessings here. You will be taken back to the hotel after this and you will be resting here for the night.

Have a delicious breakfast meal at the hotel and head towards Pokhara which is at a distance of about 210 km from Kathmandu. Enjoy the 7-hour long drive to Pokhara and take in all the mesmerizing views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. You can even opt to try out cable car riding but this would be at your own cost. There is a famous temple as well en route, Manakamana temple. After arriving at Pokhara you will be taken to the hotel. Check-in at this hotel and freshen up and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Get ready for an exciting day trip

Have breakfast at the hotel and gear up for a day full of sightseeing. Once you are ready, you will be taken first to the Bindabasini temple which is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara which was previously part of the Kaski Kingdom. Goddess Durga, who is the main deity of this place is believed to have been brought from India. If you are lucky, on a clear day you can catch a glimpse of the Himalayan range. You can even visit the old bazaar here. After this, you will be taken to the mighty Devi waterfalls. This is locally referred to as Patale Chhango. It is the best during the monsoon and the summer season. Just on the other side of this falls is Gupteshwor cave which is famous for the different forms and structures made out of limestones. Sadly, the photography is strictly prohibited inside the caves. You will be taken back to the hotel after this and you can retire into your room to rest for the night.

Explore the cultural village

After having a delicious breakfast meal at the hotel go for a day excursion trip to Sarangkot village. This is a beautiful village located on top of a hillock near the Phewa lake. This place is well-known for the several sunset and sunrise viewpoints. The view from this hillock is truly praiseworthy. If you are lucky, on a clear day you can see the changing color hues of sun rays falling on the Himalayan range. Other mountain ranges like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Ganesh Himal can also be witnessed from here on a clear day. After this, you will be taken back to your hotel in Pokhara. Enjoy the 4-hour drive to Chitwan which is known to be one of the premier wildlife sanctuaries in India. Variety of birds, animals and endangered species are housed by these widespread grasslands. Head to the hotel and check-in over here. Before retiring into your room for the night, make sure that you book your jungle jeep safari for the next day.

Check-out of the hotel at Chitwan after a hearty breakfast meal. Head towards Kathmandu which is about 5 hours away from here. Check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, you can head to the local markets to shop for several artifacts and souvenirs to take back home as gifts. Return to the hotel after this and go to your room to rest for the night.

Get immersed in learning about the traditional industries

Check out of the hotel after having a highly palatable breakfast meal at the hotel. Head towards Nagarkot which is about 1.5 hours away from Kathmandu. On the way, you can witness a wonderful view of Mt. Everest. En route stop at about 17 km from Kathmandu at Bhaktapur. Several pottery and weaving industries still exist here. You can pick up a few pieces of art from here to take back home. Other places which you can visit here include the Palace of fifty-five windows, Golden gate, and Nyatapola temple. On reaching Nagarkot, you can check-in at the hotel and overnight stay will be at this hotel.
