                          Felt like over priced in almost all aspects,driver took 8k for rohtang pass which local drivers were charging 5000 to 5500.... Rest driver was good in other aspects. Hotels were too good except in shimla, that hotel was very interior and need to walk 300 m to reach hotel which become very trouble some....hotel name was paradise village. Overall will give 3.5 star for the entire experience with travel triangle Rohtang pass

                          Our trip was very good. Ameera hotel shimla stay was good. Room was very spacious. Well behaved and responsible staffs . Bathroom was hygeine and neat. Food was very tasty . Only problem is gyser take 30 -40 min to get heat.so it is getting late to get ready. Evoque resort and spa manali was a excellent stay. Good balcony view. Room was spacious. Bathroom was hygiene and neat. Staffs behaviour was good.nice service. Food was very tasty and delicious. I strongly recommend both the hotels for comfortable stay. River rafting and paragliding games

                          We had a nice experience in the overall trip. This is being my first visit to North India and it was a challenge without knowing Hindi. It would have been still more comfortable if the driver and hotel people understand and speak little English. White hotel at Manali is ok, its bad in Shimla. No water in the morning, they gave a bucket of hot water to manage...it was realy hectic. The hotel at shimla situated in a very busy street and the car parking is very hard and there was a no-traffic restriction between 8 to 9.30am and 4.45 to 6.30pm..and the violation will be Rs10000.it was hard for us and also it was never communicated to us either by travel agent or hotel people. Hotel people didnt even share the right location to reach there. We reached as per thier location shared, but it was not the right location. When we called them, they kept saying we will call you back in 5min, but never turned up. At last we drove back to that location with the help of Google maps. The breakfast and dinner options are less and also timing is hard for us. They serve between 8.30 and 10.30 for both breakfast and dinnner, which is hard for us to plan our visits. Travel agents should make sure hotel they book is pretty decent for the money that we pay. They should arrange the driver who can at least understand a little bit of English and the people at Hotel are properly responding to our queries and speak little English.

                          We really not had a good experience with the driver. The driver was not comfortable at all, he was not putting on the heaters (we had a toddler with us) and said scared us that he feels sleepy if he put on heaters and we asked him to postpone one of the place as it was raining heavily, he refused to do that. He was more worried about his car and neatness when we are in the car, he was posting few restrictions what to do and what not to in the car which was so irritating. Also the travel agent did not informed us that there will be no snow in sollang valley, so we had to pay more 2000 to the driver for visiting the place where there is snow. Ideally,the travel agent has to plan a plan B option if there is no snow in sollang valley.

                          We had a good experience overall, but there were some sightseeing places which are of no use. Hotel services : We had checked into 2 hotels. 1st hotel was awesome food, ambiance and the management are really good. @nd hotel we checked in are away from the main road, isolated somewhere, management are not so supportive and if we place the order for room services (Hot Water for Drinking). We used to wait for more then an hour. No timely cleaning happened inspite of we asking them for room services. Water blockage in the washroom. Overall we had bad experience in our send hotel. Sightseeing Locations : Non of the locations were worthy for the money. Planning would have been better. Worst Experience was : Kufri point experience was pathetic. Would have planned something else instead.

                          A mix of good and bad experiences. We planned a 4N 5D tour of Shimla and nearby places in Feb 2020 Good ones The hotels Royal Regency (Shimla) and Sun Park (Chandigarh) were good especially the cleanliness and quality of food given there. Hotel Sun park is a bit old and has unresponsive staff and bathrooms without a door knob. Bad ones: 1. The drivers are EXTREMELY RUDE. The driver was supposed to take us to Mashobara to which he said there is nothing to seee here and after taking to some other place he started demanding extra money. 2. Agents of NORTH INDIA TOUR AND TRAVELS. Very expensive as compared to other travel agents. You can avail as much as 30% discount as compared to other travel agents with them A word of advice ALWAYS ASK THEM TO SPECIFICALLY LIST THE SITES WHICH THEY COVER IN THEIR SO-CALLED LOCAL SIGHT SEEING. On our trip to Chandigarh the driver suddenly refuses to take us to our deisred place because he and the agent says that this place is not covered in their site seeing Visit to Kufri Visit to Naldhera and the horse riding River Rafting at Tattapani Mall Road

                          Hotels were pretty good. Food was nice at Kasauli exotica but there were issues with the heater during the stay. Even after multiple request for a good driver who has proper knowledge of the areas the assigned driver was not at all assitive or helpful. Ruined the Shimla trip. As per him there was no proper intimation by Tripsailor, not sure whom to blame.

                          Hotel is Shimla Kamana Hill Resort was very nice. Food and other services 10 on 10. Just the cab driver was pathetic. From Delhi we were picked up by another driver and we changed cars at derabassi, reason given by our tour driver is that the car we are traveling from derabassi has bank installments pending hence cannot drive to Delhi. On entire trip he was on the phone taking to his friends. For breakfast, lunch he used to take us to hotels which was not at all good. Then we realized that he used to get free food and some money for taking us to that hotels. He tried foul play with me by asking 9000 from me stating that tour operator has told him to take money, rather I had already made full payment. This was closed by speaking with tour operator. Due to his phone calls while driving, he used to drive at a speed of 20 on clear roads and it took us almost 17 hours to reach Delhi from Manali. Our tour became pathetic because of this driver and also could not go to sightseeing at Vashisht temple in Manali and two points in Chandigarh. Also while coming to Delhi we had to change cars in derabassi. It was really hectic for us to change cars. Also he used to drink alcohol at night.

                          I had a fantastic experience with Travelpedia. My family, i.e. wife and 4 yr old daughter had a Shimla and Amritsar trip planned through them. The itinerary was well thought of with appropriate suggestions taken from our perspective. The hotel booked at Shimla (Royal Regency) was beautiful and well maintained. One can board without any worries here. Our room in Amritsar was not upto our satisfaction and when I called Vikash he was very prompt in upgrading the rooms to higher grade at no extra cost. Vikash was our go to man while traveling and he was very patient with our queries and prompt as well. Neesha was helpful in planning the trip. I would recommend Travelpedia anytime.
