Sri Lanka Family Trip Plan For 5 Days 5 Days & 4 Nights

Direct link really needs to work on coordination and managing the iternary. Arshad was really bad at doing it.During the trip we were just in the roads travelling the complete day and then reaching hotel and sleeping.According to the distance from one destination to another the trip should have been scheduled.The management of scheduling the trip was pathetic Our driver was really nice though he wasn’t aware of the routes but still he was good.

Overall, the trip was satisfactory. We were travelling with a 1.5 year old kid and obviously it was tough and felt we were always on the road. Pros: The guide Charitha has good knowledge of all the places and took care of us well. Would use his service again. Value for money package Cons: Overall better planning could have been done by Miss Roshell, especially between Nuwara eliya and bentota stretch - on the road for 7 hours, exhausting. Communication with Mr Charitha could have been better meaning he was bit pushy about taking us to every place on the itinerary inspite of us insisting that we did not want to go to all the places because of the baby.

It was my first experience with Travel triangle. We planned this trip for family through Direct Link, after recommendation by friend. My overall experience has been great, choice of hotels, cab, sightseeing. Special thanks for my tour coordinator : Ms. Nurshida. I remember making so many changes in my itinerary, both with respect to cities and sightseeing, before finalization and she kept her peace of mind and always had suggestion which ultimately turned out good. Also during the trip, she would promptly reply to my queries.The hotels initially suggested by her where changed without much of fuss. The car given to us for the entire trip was a big and comfortable car. Additional I would like to Thank Mr. Abdul (our chauffeur) during the trip for taking us through the country and guiding us. I was a nice experience we had in Sri Lanka and with Direct Link.

Good Trip. TRAVCO ADVENTURES services were excellent car was of very good condition and Driver Duminda was excellent human being. 1 accomodation was disappointing same has been conveyed to Travco. Duminda Car Driver 5* Fernando Travco 5* TRAVCO ADVENTURES 4*

I would say my overall trip was fine but there is scope of improvement when it comes to itinerary and planning. We could not cover a lot of points irrespective of the fact we started everyday as early as 9am. We barely got any time to shop in Colombo, in fact Lotus tower was the only place we could vidit after our arrival to Colombo and the cab driver didn't let us shop the next day or on our last day when we headed 5-6 hours early to the airport. The hotels were good except for the fact that two of them had no lifts but we had to climb stairs which was not beforehand. In fact the hotel which had a great view in Kandy, I requested the agent if we could stay there instead of going to Nuwara eliya but since it was last minute it was not acceptable. I would give 3 out 5 as there is scope of having better experience. My best memory is the time we spent in the Millennium elephant orphanage where we fed and bathed the elephant and walked with one.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful place and I am glad that Dinagi Lanka made is super easy for me to experience it. Chamodi made this trip super easy to plan and has executed it well. Madu river and SIGIRIYA treck

Cab was good enough but driver had problem understanding English. We had to repeat everything twice/thrice for him to understand. Driver not familiar with the places as well, so we wasted time searching for hotel and other areas. @Wewa Addara, food was good, nice hospitality, rooms were also good. Only issue was with the location and approach to the Hotel. Since driver doesnt know this place, we lost valuable time searching for the hotel. Google Maps doesnt show the right direction, so please do not use it. @Nelinsa, Kandy, awesome hospitality, nice makeshift rooms, good enough for one night-stay. Food was good, slight Indian touch. Would definitely recommend this place. @Sanctuary Hills, Newara Eliya, one place to avoid, looks deserted. Staff were not very welcoming, they looked and acted strange. Place was so cold and no heater in the room. No rug or heavy bedsheets as well. We traveled with elders and had to suffer. One place to remove from the list of recommended hotels. Other than these, the trip was fine. We were able to cover most of the destinations mentioned in the itinerary. It could have been better if the driver knew the place, so that we could have visited more places. It could have been better if the driver went to some Indian restaurants nearby rather than stopping by in any restaurant on the way.

We had 2 cab break down for which we wasted almost 2 days and in One of the incidence we were on road for 2 hours in hot sun, wile cab driver dint even answer our call.

One of the best times I have had in the recent times. Everything was well planned and executed. Except for the hotel at bentota, the ocean queen, hotels and their locations were very good. The location of the hotel at Nuwara eliya and the entire landscape of the place.

Good service. Too many places added to the itenary. Was able to cover only 30% of whatever listed. Moat of the time spent on road. Cake was requested but no prior preparation done at Hotel. Except for these, had a good stay and very nice hospitality from Srilanka.

Well planned , organised. Good communication Only thing is last day of my trip, in colombo we reached at night , so couldnt cover much there...we could ve planned in such a way that colombo sight seeing was given preference over places like Galle fort. But rest assured everything went well

The trip was nothing short of magical, very well planned n organized. The agent was forthcoming n available for all support. the driver was very well versed with the ghats n a safe driver. the hotels cod hav been better but the ones we stayed in were pretty decent. Overall it was a wonderful experience and northeast is just a must do on any bucket list. The garden of caves was just a phenomenal place loved the adventure.
