Traveling by flight is also an option, but one will have to board a flight to Jaipur since Alwar does not have an airport. Therefore, traveling by flight is not the most feasible option. Delhi to Alwar By Air: As the Alwar city does not have an airport of its own, there is no option available to travel from Delhi to this city of Rajasthan via a flight. The aerial distance between Alwar and Delhi is 133 km.

Delhi to Alwar By Rail: Traveling by train is the best way to reach Alwar from Delhi. With Alwar Railway Station being located in the heart of the town, all you need to do is board a Delhi to Alwar train, and voila! You are all set to cover the mere distance of about 143 km in around 2 to 3 hours. There are plenty of trains that operate between the two places. You can choose from Ashram Express, Ranikhet Express, Jammu AliExpress, and other trains. The cherry on the cake is that traveling via railways is also the cheapest option to get there from Delhi.

By Bus: There are also plenty of buses that operate between Delhi and Alwar. Lighthouse had average food and some hot-water issues but good staff service, while Mukund Villas had scope for improvement in food quality, room maintenance, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities. Our drivers were professional and helpful overall. Hanif was friendly and knowledgeable, though the car provided was old and broke down multiple times (not his fault), and he remained supportive throughout. Deepak ensured a smooth long drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur; however, he was often unwilling to cover short distances and would drop us at main points, asking us to walk to nearby places, which became tiring for my parents. Additionally, there is room for improvement in destination and sightseeing selection from the Back2Holidays side. As tourists, we rely heavily on their expertise, and a few places felt like tourist traps with very little to actually see or experience. Despite these areas for improvement, the trip was well coordinated overall, and the strong customer support made it a comfortable family experience. — Atish Deore Food recommendations that we got from the drivers were very good.
