Mount Abu does not have an airport of its own but it is considered to be the best and fastest way to reach Mount Abu. The nearest airport to Mount Abu is Udaipur Airport (or Dabok Airport) and from here, you can hire private taxis that will take you directly to Mount Abu. If you are on a budget, there are also several bus routes that head into Mount Abu. RSRTC has a regular AC bus service operating between Udaipur and Mount Abu that will ensure that you reach your destination in comfort.

By Train

Railways are often considered to be the best way to reach Mount Abu from Udaipur. While travelling by train may not be as quick as taking a flight, the scenic journey definitely makes up for it as the train makes its way across the beautiful countryside. Mount Abu’s railway station, Abu Road, is around 28 km from the main city. So you can take a train from Udaipur City Railway Station and make your way to Abu Road. From the railway station, travellers can opt for a state transport service or take a private taxi to reach Mount Abu.

A drive from Udaipur to Mount Abu makes for a wonderful trip that is filled with scenic views and some of the most picturesque routes in India. Mount Abu is 160 km away from Udaipur and can take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to reach. A road trip in your own vehicle will give you a chance to explore the beauty of Mount Abu and its surrounding places at your own leisure. Alternatively, you can also hop on a bus or hire a private taxi to take you to Mount Abu. Frequent bus services operate between Udaipur and Mount Abu and will save you from tiredness and fatigue from constant driving.
