Wondering how to reach Mahe Island? Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) is the primary airport of the Seychelles. It is located some 11 km away from the capital city of Victoria on the island of Mahé. Travelers can reach the city of Victoria from the airport by renting a cab or taking the bus via the Victoria-Providence Highway.

There are regular ferries and island hopper flights from Mahe Island to Praslin or La Digue islands. Since the island is only 4 miles wide and 16 miles long, it is very easy to get around and explore. Travelers can take the bus, rent a bicycle, walk, or hire a cab for sightseeing in Seychelles. For public transport, blue buses run on all of the major streets in the city of Victoria. For less than 5 Seychellois Rupees, travelers can go anywhere on the island.
