Andaman & Nicobar Tour Packages From Ahmedabad

Andaman & Nicobar Tour Packages From Ahmedabad: rated 4.4/5 (based on 5485 reviews) | Packages starting from ₹8,299/-

Andaman & Nicobar Tour Packages From Ahmedabad

Andaman & Nicobar tour packages from Ahmedabad start at INR 13,988 per person and run from a 4N/5D beach break to a 6N/7D island loop across Port Blair, Havelock and Neil. There is no direct flight, so every trip from Ahmedabad flies 1-stop through Chennai, Kolkata or Hyderabad in roughly 6 to 11 hours, and the package handles the part that trips up first-time visitors: inter-island ferries, permits and airport pickups.
TravelTriangle lists customisable packages you can shape around your dates, budget and the islands you actually want to see, each one bookable through a verified local agent. If you are comparing a family trip, a honeymoon or a friends' group, the tables below lay out price, routing and the best months at a glance.

How To Reach Andaman From Ahmedabad

By air (recommended). There is no nonstop flight from Ahmedabad (AMD) to Port Blair, now Sri Vijaya Puram (IXZ). Flights are 1-stop, routing via Kolkata (CCU), Chennai (MAA) or Hyderabad (HYD), with total travel time roughly 6 to 11 hours depending on the layover, and fares from about INR 10,700 one-way. Book the connection 4 to 6 weeks ahead, because the single daily island seats fill before the mainland legs do.

By sea. There is no passenger ship from Ahmedabad. Government passenger ships to Port Blair sail only from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam and take about 56 to 70 hours, so nearly everyone from Gujarat flies.

Ahmedabad To Andaman Distance

October to mid-May is the best window to visit Andaman from Ahmedabad, with calm seas, reliable ferries and clear water for diving.

Window Weather / sea Best for From-Ahmedabad note
Oct to Nov (shoulder) Calm, fresh post-monsoon Diving, beaches Good fares, fewer crowds
Dec to Feb (peak) Cool, dry, best seas Honeymoon, families Book 1-stop flights early
Mar to mid-May (shoulder) Warm, calm, great visibility Water sports, scuba Value before summer

Places To Visit And Things To Do

From Ahmedabad, most itineraries route Port Blair to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) to Neil (Shaheed Dweep). Port Blair anchors the history, with the Cellular Jail, where the evening Light and Sound Show retells the freedom struggle, and Ross Island a short boat ride away. Havelock owns the beaches: Radhanagar for sunsets, the quieter Kalapathar for a dawn walk, and Elephant Beach for snorkelling and try-scuba. Neil is the calm one, with Bharatpur, Laxmanpur and the Natural Bridge. For water time, Havelock and North Bay hold the bookables travellers ask about most: scuba and snorkelling, sea walking, jet ski rides, and the glass-bottom boat that runs over the coral at North Bay without anyone getting wet. Adventure add-ons include a Baratang limestone-cave day.

Jagan's 7 days trip to Andaman

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Testimonial for Peral Andaman Our Andaman trip was truly unforgettable, and all the credit goes to Peral Andaman for their excellent planning and support. From ferry bookings and hotel arrangements to sightseeing and activity coordination, everything was managed professionally and without a
ny hassle. The team was always available to assist us, ensuring our journey was smooth and enjoyable. The ferry travel between Port Blair, Havelock, Neil Island, and Ross Island was well coordinated, and their guidance helped us make the most of our time. The early morning sightseeing, the unique 58 km convoy journey through the tribal reserve, the breathtaking beaches, and the amazing water sports made this trip one of the best vacations we've had. My suggestion to anyone visiting Andaman is to plan at least 6 nights and 7 days to enjoy the islands at a relaxed pace. Thank you once again, Peral Andaman, for your outstanding service, hospitality, and continuous support. We highly recommend your team to anyone planning an Andaman holiday. A big thank you to Peral Andaman for helping make our Andaman trip a wonderful and memorable experience. Everything was very well organized, and your support throughout the journey was truly appreciated. Your excellent coordination, prompt assistance, and friendly service made our vacation completely stress-free. We had an amazing time because of your team's efforts. A few tips for anyone planning an Andaman trip: - Ferry tickets should be booked well in advance, especially for the routes Port Blair → Havelock → Neil Island → Port Blair → Ross Island, to get the best timings and avoid last-minute issues. - Be prepared for early mornings. Most sightseeing starts between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM, and you'll usually return to your hotel only around 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM after a full day of activities. - One of the unique experiences is the 58 km journey through the tribal reserve, where travel is allowed only with a police convoy while going and returning. It is a truly different experience and offers a glimpse of the region's unique environment. - The destinations are absolutely beautiful, and the water sports and adventure activities are fantastic. They are a must-try for anyone visiting the islands. Overall, I highly recommend planning at least 6 nights and 7 days to comfortably explore the major islands and enjoy all the attractions without rushing. Once again, thank you, Peral Andaman, for your outstanding support and making our holiday so special. I highly recommend your services to anyone planning an Andaman vacation!

Mr's 5 days trip to Andaman

Overall Experience: While the itinerary ultimately covered all the promised destinations, the first few days of the trip were highly stressful due to poor breakfast service, below-average accommodations, transportation discrepancies, and lack of support from both the booking partner and local agent
s. 1. Breakfast Service (First 2 Days) Day 1: My flight timings changed, and I requested an early breakfast, which was denied. While I understood the policy, it set a disappointing tone. Day 2: We had an early morning checkout to travel to Havelock Island. We were provided a packed breakfast consisting only of low-quality bread, butter, jam, and a packed mango juice. This was highly unsatisfactory. 2. Havelock Island Accommodations & Itinerary Delays Resort Quality: The resort provided on Havelock Island was extremely poor. The rooms felt like below-average huts, resulting in a terrible experience. Service Delay: It took almost an hour of arguing to get our room changed. Lack of Local Agent Support: Because of the room change, our itinerary ran late. The local agent asked why we were running late and insensitively suggested we should have gone on the tour first and changed rooms later. It is unreasonable to expect guests to go out without freshening up first. 3. Transport Issues Havelock Island: We were initially given an Alto to travel to Radhanagar Beach, which did not match what was promised during booking. After confronting the agent, they upgraded us to a Scorpio for the return journey to the resort. Neil Island: The driver on Neil Island was incredibly rushed, constantly forcing us to hurry through our sightseeing because he had another group of guests waiting for his next trip. 4. Discounts and Financial Discrepancies We were promised a 40% discount on water sports activities, but this was not honored. We were forced to pay the full price/whatever rate was quoted on-site, with zero assistance from your team. 5. Booking Partner & Coordinator Support The resort provided on Neil Island was very good, and the final legs of the trip went smoothly. However, the travel partner we booked through provided almost no assistance during the trip. It felt like we had to figure everything out on our own, and we were left entirely at the mercy of the local agent. Conclusion The lack of coordination, poor initial accommodations, and unhelpful local support made the first few days of our vacation incredibly uneasy and stressful. I expect a formal response regarding the unhonored discounts and the standard of service provided

Frequently Asked Questions

Get your answers — before you plan your trip.

FAQs About Andaman Tour Packages

How much does an Andaman tour cost?

An affordable Andaman tour for 5 days and 4 nights costs between INR 16,000 and INR 19,000 per person, excluding flights. That covers accommodation, island transfers, breakfast and sightseeing.

How many days are enough for Andaman?

Plan at least 4 to 5 days for a first Andaman trip. That is enough to cover Port Blair and Havelock and see the headline sights without rushing the ferry days.

What water activities can I do on an Andaman trip from Ahmedabad?

Havelock and North Bay hold most of the bookables. You can try scuba diving and snorkelling at Elephant Beach, sea walking and a glass-bottom boat over the coral at North Bay, and jet ski rides near Corbyn's Cove. Round off Port Blair with the evening Light and Sound Show at the Cellular Jail.

Are Andaman water sports safe for non-swimmers and children?

Yes. Sea walking and the glass-bottom boat need no swimming, since you either stay upright on the seabed or stay dry in the boat, and both suit children with a guardian. Jet ski rides and parasailing run with trained instructors and life jackets, and beginners can do a guided Discover Scuba dive without a diving licence.

Are all the islands in Andaman and Nicobar accessible?

The Andaman and Nicobar group has 572 islands and only about 32 are inhabited. Tourism is limited to the Andaman islands. Do not enter restricted or tribal areas.

Can I find vegetarian food in the Andaman Islands?

Yes. The islands are not famous for vegetarian cuisine, but with the rise in tourism most hotels and restaurants in Port Blair and Havelock now serve reliable vegetarian food.

Is the internet easily accessible here?

Connectivity is patchy compared with the mainland. Major hotels and resorts in Port Blair and Havelock offer usable Wi-Fi, but carry offline maps and expect slow data on the smaller islands.

What is the cheapest way to reach Andaman from Ahmedabad?

The cheapest way is a 1-stop flight via Chennai or Kolkata, with fares from about INR 10,700 one-way when booked 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

Is there a direct flight from Ahmedabad to Andaman?

No. There is no nonstop flight from Ahmedabad (AMD) to Port Blair (IXZ). Flights are 1-stop, connecting via Kolkata, Chennai or Hyderabad, with total travel time roughly 6 to 11 hours depending on the layover.

How far is Andaman from Ahmedabad?

The flying distance from Ahmedabad to Port Blair is roughly 2,480 km, covered by a 1-stop flight in about 6 to 11 hours total. There is no road or rail link. The islands are reached only by air, or by ship from a mainland port.

What is the cost of an average Andaman package from Ahmedabad?

Land packages start from about INR 13,988 per person for 4N/5D and INR 16,500 to 19,500 for 5N/6D, twin-sharing. Adding the 1-stop return airfare (from about INR 21,000 per person) brings a typical 5N/6D all-in trip to roughly INR 37,000 to 41,000 per person.

Are flights included in the Andaman package from Ahmedabad?

Most land packages cover hotels, transfers, ferries and sightseeing but not the Ahmedabad to Port Blair airfare, unless you choose an airfare-inclusive option.

How many days are enough for an Andaman trip from Ahmedabad?

Five to six nights (5N/6D) is the sweet spot from Ahmedabad. It covers Port Blair, Havelock and Neil without rushing, and it absorbs the longer 1-stop travel days at each end.

Do Indian citizens need a permit for Andaman from Ahmedabad?

Indian citizens do not need a permit for the main islands of Port Blair, Havelock and Neil. Carry a government photo ID for ferry boarding and hotel check-ins. Foreign nationals should check the current entry rules before travelling.

What is the best time to plan an Andaman tour package from Ahmedabad?

October to mid-May is the best window, with calm seas, dependable ferries and clear water. December and January are peak, so book the 1-stop flight 4 to 6 weeks ahead as connecting seats fill first.
