Meghha's 5 days trip to Gujarat

I had a great trip to part of Gujarat. My main agenda of the trip was to visit Rann of Kutch and I included local sight seeing in Ahmedabad. My travel and stay in Bhuj and Rann of Kutch was managed Diu Holidays, assisted by Anjali. I had a good experience with the travel agency - she was available on call for any of my planning and queries related to travel. The hotel in Bhuj was the best. It has been recently renovated with beautiful decor and good service. Rann of Kutch tent stay was great, but the tent itself was average. It is quite old and needs basic improvements to the faucets in the washroom, and AC maintenance. It was clean and the people managing the property were helpful, food was great and entertainment in common area was also good. Overall I had a good break taking this short trip to Gujarat.

Sasidharan's 7 days trip to Gujarat

Hi Good morning. Becon Hotel Vadodara was not worth for even a night's stay. The rooms were too small and cramped. Probably single room converted to double. Staff at reception were not courties and were taking a long time for clearance. No parking and accommodation for the driver . Better not to continue with this hotel for tourists bookings by your company.

Radhakrishnan's 7 days trip to Gujarat

I am Radhakrishnan travelling with family of 4 members almost all main sightseeing areas of Gujarat and found it extra convenient and comfortable in s brand new Kia Carens, a good driver like a family member and tour guide... And special mention to one of their staff Payal Solanki who guide me for the whole comfortable journey. Only negative part is that Hotel Clark Collection charged 18 %GST for fooding their restuarant but all other hotels charged only 5%GST ... Please note that it's against rules

Tips

  • For a days trip, better to hire a cab for the round trip rather than depending on public transport which can be inconvenient and not entirely reliable.
  • Even when traveling during the winter season, a single shawl or jacket would suffice as the temperature doesn’t dip too low. Sunscreen lotion, sunglasses and cap are always good to carry as Gujarat has sunny days.
  • Carry a pair of comfortable walking shoes or floaters, along with flip flops for beach visits.
  • It is a good idea to research about top tourist spots in each of the cities based on your interests, when you book Gujarat tour packages from Ahmedabad.
  • If you visit Diu, then try to avoid weekends as lot of locals throng the island at this time.
  • Always carry a water bottle with you to avoid dehydration as Gujarat is a hot and dry state.

Over the last few years, Gujarat has made its mark and found its niche in the tourism space of India with its unique attractions and perfect blend of abundant nature, rich culture and glorious history. The land and people exude a warmth that makes the entire experience a notch better, while the ample shopping opportunities and fantastic range of handcrafted products add to its attraction.
