1. Grand Friday Mosque

The Grand Friday Mosque is a magnificent white mosque in Male which was built in the year 1984. The mosque looks amazingly beautiful as it is built from white marble with minimum decorations. The main hall of the mosque is so big that it can accommodate 5000 people at a time and is beautifully decorated with wooden carvings , chandeliers, and woven carpet. It is necessary to dress properly while going to this mosque otherwise you will not be allowed to enter it.

2. Male National Museum

Located in the Sultan Park, the museum was established in the year 1952 with an objective to preserve the history and various artefacts of Maldives. 3. Tsunami Monument
