Atlantis Palm Jumeirah in Dubai

In 2008, the 23-storey resort was inaugurated with one lakh fireworks which had lasted for 15 minutes. The overall event was thoroughly broadcasted over millions of television throughout the world. The Palm was decorated with flabbergasting lightings along with 400 balconies and 716 launching pads meant for the firing of the fireworks.

Atlantis Architecture & Features

The hotel consists of East and West Towers connected to each other by the Royal Suite Bridge. The towers together are known to house a total of 1539 rooms and are also facilitated with an Aquaventure Park and a Nasimi Beach where one can enjoy frequent concerts and various other events taking place.

Sports & Entertainment

There are three private, mesmerising beaches in Atlantis The Palm. These are Aquaventure Beach, Royal Beach and Nasimi Beach Club. The Nasimi Beach Club acts as a favorite ground for sunbathing. There is also a large kid-friendly swimming pool in the grounds of the hotel.

A family lounge called as the Wavehouse with a bowling zone, arcade centre and restaurant has been newly opened here.

Children (ages 3-12, charges apply) can spend time here. This place offers everything from arts and crafts to an underwater movie theatre. The other famous attractions of Dubai such as the Burj Khalifa, are about 25 minutes away.

Hakkasan, famous dining outlet in Atlantis, The Palm, offers authentic Cantonese cuisine amidst a modern decor. There is also the acclaimed restaurant called Nobu which serves Japanese cuisine with a hint of Arabian influences. The Bread Street Kitchen Bar serves the guests with signature British menu and delightful beverages from the renowned chef Gordon Ramsay. Highlights Of Atlantis In Palm

- Owing to its popularity, the resort has also been used for filming many adventure scenes. The Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah was visited for many episodes of the popular series, Amazing Race 15 and Amazing Race 28, where a total of 14 teams had participated and only one team was to win.

- In the year 2009, during the shooting of "The X- Factor", a part of the event had taken place in the Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah.

- Not just Hollywood, even in Bollywood most part of the blockbuster film of Shahrukh Khan entitled " Happy New Year" was filmed in The Palm, and a major portion had been shot in Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah.

- In the recent year of 2016, three important episodes from "The Real Housewives of Melbourne" were filmed in the resort of Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah.
