About Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai
Standing as one of the most popular tourist spots in Dubai, Madinat Jumeirah is a stunning beachfront resort complex in Umm Suqeim that has been designed to look like an Arabic town. One can witness a charming show of its architecture completed with a traditional wind tower that recreates the past era in Arabia. Madinat Jumeirah has over 40 bars and restaurants in total. The famous Souk Madinat Jumeirah offers traditional Middle Eastern style bazaars with restaurants and stalls available under wooden covered arcades. It stands as a perfect blending of modernity and culture in one place. Madinat Jumeirah also holds Al Qasr, Mina a’Salam and Dar Al Masyaf hotels in its proud possession. A tour of Madinat Jumeirah showcases its authenticity along with providing beautiful options for sightseeing. There also stands a fabulous water park with the name of Wild Wadi Water Park at its far end.
History of Madinat Jumeirah
Mina A’Salam was the first creation to be built in 2003 before the rest of the structures in Madinat Jumeirah. The rest of it was built in 2004. The developer retained Mirage Mille and Mittal Investment Group Limited Creative Kingdom created the Madinat Jumeirah. With the feels of a true Arabian mini-city in Dubai, Madinat Jumeirah has traditional summerhouses and its own private beach.
Attractions Of Madinat Jumeirah
Abra: Abras are the small wooden taxis that run on water in Madinat Jumeirah. One can go on an excursion to some of the famous places and admire the beauty of this Arabian city.
Souk Madinat: This is the ultimate shopping destination for all the shopaholics. One can find traditional as well as modern things here as there are a number of boutiques, fancy shops, stalls, gift shops here. Apart from shopping, this place also has a number of eateries to relish the taste buds with scrumptious food.
Wild Wadi Waterpark: This is an iconic water park in Dubai with various thrilling and adventurous rides. Everyone from children to adults can have some entertainment at the Wadi Wadi Waterpark.
Mina A’Salam: This is a rehabilitation center for the injured turtles where the turtles are looked after and then send back to their natural habitat.
