If you are traveling with kids, then get ready to take a trip into the oceanic life withheld in the aquarium that is built with a storage capacity of 10 million liters of water. The underwater zoo is illuminated with some of the most rarely found aquatic creatures. The Dubai aquarium measures 51m X 20m X 11m in size and is recognized as the world’s largest indoor aquariums. The underwater zoo is located on the floor just above the aquarium.

Dubai aquarium and underwater zoo boast of being home to some of the most exotic sea creatures including some of the rare breeds of reptiles and sea animals. It is a perfect place to take your children as it is a great learning as well as a fun environment for them to experience. At the Dubai aquarium, there are over thirty-three thousand aquatic animal and sea creatures with over 300 species of sharks and rays living in the same tank. Get up close with penguins, piranhas, crabs, water rats, seahorses, jellyfish and many more of the creatures that are usually a rare sight to find. The most recent addition to the underwater zoo family is the king croc which is regarded as one of the rarest creatures in the world.

The long dome tunnel that passes through the underwater zoo is a visual treat as you see the sea creatures in their natural habitat swimming all around you. Do not forget to keep your shutterbugs charged for some precious shots in the beautiful marine backdrop.

While Dubai is most famous and well known for its malls and tall skyscraper buildings, the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is a must visit for its exotic appeal. The entry fee for Dubai Aquarium is AED 55 per person, which is the cost of a Standard Ticket. Entry fee varies as per experiences at the aquarium and zoo. Platinum tickets cost around AED 80. The visiting hours of Dubai Aquarium are 10 am to 11 pm all days of the week. On every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the aquarium and zoo remain open until midnight.
