Ram Janambhoomi

Hanuman Garhi Temple

It is the 10th-century Hanuman temple situated inside the Hanuman Garhi fort. It is considered the most crucial temple in Ayodhya and is customary to visit this temple before the Rama Mandir. Kanak Bhawan

It is also the famous temple situated inside the Hanuman Garhi Fort. It is believed that the temple was given to Sita and Rama by Rama's stepmother, Kaikey, as a wedding gift and only contains statues of Sita with her husband. The temple was constructed in 1891 and is also known as Sone-ka-Ghar, which means Golden Palace, it cites three golden-crowned idols of the two gods under a silver roof in the sanctum santorum (Garbagriha). Ramkot

It is one of the leading sites to visit in Ayodhya as it is the ancient citadel of its namesake, standing on elevated ground in the western city. However, many pilgrims visit this site daily throughout the year, but it attracts many devotees from all over the world on “Rama Navami”, the day of the birth of Rama. Swarg Dwar is believed to be the site of the cremation of Rama. Mani Parbat and Sugriv Parbat are ancient earth mounds, the first identified by a stupa built by the emperor Ashoka, and the second is an ancient monastery. Nageshwarnath Temple

It was established in the name of Lord Nageshwarnath and is located adjacent to the Tehri bazaar in Ayodhya. It is believed to have been set up by Kush or Kusha, Lord Rama's son. A sacred site continued to be in good maintenance since 750 AD; the current temple is said to have been reconstructed in 1750 by Safar Jung's minister, Naval Rai. While the rest of the city was in ruins and covered by dense forest, this temple allowed Vikramaditya to recognise the city. The festival of Shivratri is celebrated here with great splendour. Shri Sita Rasoi Bhojnalya

Sita ki rasoi is believed to be an ancient kitchen used by Lord Sita by herself and quite close to the Ram Janambhoomi. This sacred site is now a temple housing some exhibit vessels, and one of the two kitchens revered in Sita's name, this Sita Ki Rasoi, is a basement kitchen. On the other side of the temple, there are richly clothed and embellished idols of Ram, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan and their wives Sita, Urmila, Mandavi and Srutakirti. Imambada Gulab Bari

Also known as the Garden of Roses, it is one of Ayodhya's famous gardens and tourist attractions. It is the tomb of the third Nawab of Faizabad (Oudh or Awadh), Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula and his parents, which is also considered an Ancient Monument and Archaeological Site. Tulasi Samrak Bhawan

This bhawan was established in the 16th century as a loving memory of saint poet Goswami Tulsidas. It is believed that Tulsidas ji used to compose Ramcharita Manas for their devotees. Apart from the massive library, which is a storehouse of rich literature, the Samrak Bhawan is also a house research centre called “Ayodhya Research Sansthan”. This place is also marked as a daily recitation of “Rama Katha”.
