By Air: While there are no Bangalore to Bhutan direct flights, for anyone looking to fly to Bhutan, they can do so from Delhi, Kolkata or even Guwahati to Bhutan's main airport, Paro. People from Bangalore can travel to any of the above destinations to grab a flight to Paro to enter and enjoy the mountainous country. Bangalore to Paro flight durations, including the layovers at Delhi or Kolkata, take on an average 11 hours.

By Road: While not the best method to utilize to travel from Bangalore to Bhutan, this remains a possibility for those with an adventurous spirit. The distance between Bangalore to Bhutan by road is 2875 kilometers and takes an unearthly 60 hours to travel. With so much time required for traveling, people are sure to feel tired early in their journey. There are tolls on the roads, and they have to travel through Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, and finally West Bengal before reaching Bhutan.

 

By Railways: Travelling from Bangalore to Bhutan by railways is also an option, but there are no direct railways connecting the two cities. For anyone looking to enter the city by railways, they can do so by going to Kolkata and traveling from there to Hasimara or New Jalpaiguri and traveling to the border from there by bus or taxi.

Our cab driver and guide were also very cooperative and shared valuable insights into the history of the places we visited. Overall, it was a truly wonderful trip for us. The best part was our stay at Oro Villa in Thimphu and Lobesa in Punaka and Tashi namgay in Paro—it was amazing! The food was delicious, and the people there were super friendly.

It is OFF SEASON but yet the package was on higher side, hotel of Phuentsholing and Paro was not upto the mark. At Paro it was far off from city centre between a farm land. There was a clear communication from my side to close the deal within 50k but came to know at time of immigration that SDF was additional it didn't set the tone right for the trip also some sight seeing were not covered, anyways it's over now and almost a safe trip. The journey was nice with nice almost new car of Mr.Lobzang and guide Mr. Sonam was also good. Couple of restaurants were good and Thimpu hotel was great
