By Air: While there are no Bangalore to Bhutan direct flights, for anyone looking to fly to Bhutan, they can do so from Delhi, Kolkata or even Guwahati to Bhutan's main airport, Paro. People from Bangalore can travel to any of the above destinations to grab a flight to Paro to enter and enjoy the mountainous country. Bangalore to Paro flight durations, including the layovers at Delhi or Kolkata, take on an average 11 hours.

By Road: While not the best method to utilize to travel from Bangalore to Bhutan, this remains a possibility for those with an adventurous spirit. The distance between Bangalore to Bhutan by road is 2875 kilometers and takes an unearthly 60 hours to travel. With so much time required for traveling, people are sure to feel tired early in their journey. There are tolls on the roads, and they have to travel through Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, and finally West Bengal before reaching Bhutan.

 

By Railways: Travelling from Bangalore to Bhutan by railways is also an option, but there are no direct railways connecting the two cities. For anyone looking to enter the city by railways, they can do so by going to Kolkata and traveling from there to Hasimara or New Jalpaiguri and traveling to the border from there by bus or taxi.

AD Tours & Travels had curated the perfect itinerary for us based on our needs. Everything was well planned from the start - Stay, food, vehicle. We had one of the best weeks of experiencing Bhutan with our guide KinLee and Tshering guruji. They were polite, patient, thoughtful, jovial and good knowledge about the history, location awareness. KinLee had deep knowledge about all the places and events and shared great of information. Great combination of hotels and homestay and the hosts everywhere were caring and helpful with all our needs and also the stays were clean and comfortable with awesome views of the valleys. Visited Thimpu, Punakha, Phobjikha and Paro and ended our last day with a eventful trek to Tiger's Nest. Tried local dishes as per the recommendations and it was a great experience. Would like to thank Tandin and Saraswati for organizing everything and providing us with a good package. Will definitely visit again !!
