Best Time To Visit Bangalore

Winter Season

The months of October to February comprise the winter season for Bangalore, and although the temperature doesn’t drop down much, it does become a little colder for sure. The lowest recorded temperature during these months don’t fall below 10°C, requiring travelers to carry a light jacket with them during the evenings. The days are cool as well, thereby ensuring that there are no problems in enjoying a bout of sightseeing around the city, as part of your Bangalore sightseeing packages. Most tourists also take this time to visit other destinations near Bangalore for a more well-rounded vacation.

Summer Season

The summer season in Bangalore lasts from March to May, and whilst the weather stays pleasant enough towards the evening, the days can be a little too sunny for comfort. Sightseeing might become a hindrance, especially if you are planning to spend time at any of the gardens here. Even though the temperature doesn’t rise beyond 36°C, it is advisable to keep hydrated and use sunscreen when going out in the daytime.

Monsoon Season

The monsoon season in Bangalore is from June to September, when the city is given a whole new green makeover, post the rains. The rainy season starts with mild showers, later turning into thunderstorms as the season progresses. The months receiving the highest rainfall in Bangalore are August and September. Tourists do visit the city during this time as well, but the footfall is pretty low considering the rains might play spoilsport with any sightseeing plans. Don’t forget to pack an umbrella and a raincoat for uninterrupted enjoyment while out.

How To Reach Bangalore?

By Air

Bangalore is a very well connected city, be it to most places across India, and via a host of commuting options. For those looking to reach Bangalore by air, the Kempegowda Bangalore International Airport is a hotbed of activity, with flights departing and arriving at regular intervals from all over India as well as the world. Once you have landed at the airport, for starting your Bangalore trip packages, it is pretty easy to get prepaid and postpaid taxis to take you to your destination. There is also a bus service at the airport to take travelers to most parts of the city.

By Rail

If you are looking to reach Bangalore via railways, then too there are several options. The main railway stations of Bangalore are Bengaluru City Junction Railway Station, Whitefield Railway Station, Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station and the Belandur Road among others. These railway stations connect Bangalore to various destinations across the country, from parts of South India to North India as well.

By Road

And if you are wondering how to reach Bangalore by road, then one of the best things to do is to take a bus. There are plenty of national highways that connect Bangalore to several parts of the country. The bus services of South India are very efficiently run, and there are buses available here to get to Mumbai, Delhi and Goa among other major cities of India. You can also drive over to Bangalore on your own, for a fun road trip, if you do not purchase a Bangalore package.

Santosh's 6 days trip to Ladakh

Just concluded a Leh/Ladakh trip arranged by Tripita . Everything was delivered as promised. The coordination by the agent before and during the trip was excellent. Every day our point of contact Ms.Shefali called us to take feedback about hotels and travel to ensure our comfort. The hotels were, hygienic. The staff were polite and cooperative. we got an excellent, experienced driver who knew about the locations to be covered and looked after us like a family member. He was flexible, cooperative, polite and pleasant. I must thank Shefali for the concern she showed when our return flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Though it was beyond the scope her duty she arranged stay back for a day and ensure our safe and comfortable return to Bangalore

Kruti's 7 days trip to Andaman

We have traveled through Jubilant Travel from Bangalore to Andamans. Ms Anita has helped us to book our hotels and she has arranged cab too and provided service on time. Cruise tickets were also booked by her only. She was in touch with her during our trip to check that we are not facing any issues. Also she helped us to get refund from the hotel paid by us extra. Personally, she is very helpful and kind. Also understands the requirements of the client. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable. We loved the surprise of photoshoot. God bless you

The travel agent required more clarity… The travel agent had called to check preference of the flight between lion air or thai air and I specifically had mentioned not to book lion air but the same was booked..the journey was really bad…the leg space was terrible..we had to travel from Bangalore to Bangkok and again to Phuket…all the floghts to and fro were budget airline which was not my ask Also i had clearly requested 4 to five star hotel however in Krabi the hotel provided was Aonang silver orchid hotel which was really dingy and bad..it was like a lodge much smaller and worst than an oyo room in India :( ..the services were very bad…we were 2 adults and a 11 year old child and i asked for a pillow and the hotel denied providing it…they were petty Rest of it was good however the flights and the hotel at Krabi were terribly dissatisfying The sightseeing places were beautiful The local transportation were nice

Ramachandran's 7 days trip to Vietnam

1 Flights: Flight booking was OK. Inclusive of Meal flights, option of customer for veg or non-veg to be verified and customer advised. 2 Stay: 3 places of stay at Hanoi/HochiMinh city/Siem Reap was good. 3 Pick up for tours and flights on arrival as well for Departure - Coordinators at places of tours should keep the traveller informed of next day morning pick up details for flights previous day. Tour vans for all tours in Hanoi/HochiMinh/SiemReap picked up without any trouble. 4 Vietnam picking up from/to airports was made as if secrecy has to be maintained with persons picking up not showing their Identity, which is not correct. Are we being kidnapped for secrecy to be maintined. Cambodian coordinator was far better in this aspect. 5 Siem Reap shuttle at cambodia tours were well prepared for their job as well as did not face much problem in the tours of vietnam. 6 VISA: Total mess in the case of Vietnam. Higher level Trip Pro people as well as HTT have taken this aspect very casually, putting the customer to lot of mental agony and frustration. In spite of no.6 above, I sincerely thank Ms.Tanya Malhotra for her sincere effort to help me at every stage for the tour to be completed without hitch in Vietnam and Cambodia. Finally, HTT cannot be a spectator once when the trip organiser is identified and fix dates for activities of getting visa and other matters to be organised before starting of the trip. Thanks to Trupti from Travel bae (agent) and the Gujarat cab driver Paresh. You can trust them fully. Every trip has some learning. Avoid talking to stranger inside Dwarka temple as they will trap and loot money. Beyt dwark is beautiful but do it first thing in the morning as it is very tiring in case u r travelling with kids or elders. One can stay 2 days in Somnath if they wish to cover Gir, Diu and Daman. Hotels Fairfield by Marriott @ahmedabad and Sarovar portica @somnath is excellent. In Ahmedabad, One can skip Adalaj steps if pressed for time. Make sure to spend evening on Atal ji bridge which is Sabarmati river front. Gujarat is beautiful.

Vishnu's 15 days trip to Europe

I would like to thank Hub Holiday for their exceptional service and support for our Europe trip. They took care of each and every aspect of our trip and ensured that the trip went smoothly. They were always accessible/reachable and very prompt in their response. I would specifically extend my gratitude to Prashant Daroch and Rohit Thakur for their exemplary orientation, problem-solving & solutions-oriented approach. I would recommend Hub Holidays to every one planning a trip either in India or abroad. I would like to mention one incident while we were in Paris - we missed our guided tour of Louvre museum due to some confusion on part of the organizers in Paris - I called up Prashant and I was pleasantly surprised - he ensured we had the required tickets within 30 minutes and we were able to go to the museum. Hubliday.com has a great team with the right orientation - to provide the customized service and support we need and expect. I recommend them to everyone and wish the team the very best. Best regards, Vishnu Bangalore

Vivek's 10 days trip to New Zealand

We booked our New Zealand through travel traingle and hub holidays. Our plan was customised as per our requirements . Hotels, flights, meal, activities , self drive car everything was good. We did not face any issue during our trip. The only set back was Franz Joseph hotel which was 30 mins away from the main city. Other then that everything was good. We did not have a good experience with the visa team though. They were not aware of all the documents needed and we're not even aware that new Zealand tourist visa is an e visa for Indians, we being in Bangalore had to send them documents couple of time. Also they were rude no customer obsession. The 1 start that I have deducted is solely for travel relations the visa company. At one point we felt we could have done processing for our visa and it would have been much faster. But the experience we had with travel traingle and hub holidays is 5*. New Zealand and it's beauty. Self drive with Toyota RAWA Spinnaker's bay apartment Glaciar ride with snow landing Milford sound trip
