People live a simple life and our happy and it shows in the Gross National Happiness (GNH) Index which is a unique way to measure the happiness and well-being of the Bhutanese people. re information than my Bhutan guide. Guide Namgey was good on first day who had to rush for an emergency, only to be replaced by a bad guide. Their choice of hotels are not so good as they are away from the city in Thimphu and Paro. I liked Thimphu hotel though. Travel agents were helpful sometimes but I had to ask them driver and guide details multiple times which was frustrating. Sometimes there was poor or late response. I realised that the guide skipped places at the end of the tour and they stopped replying to my messages or calls without even acknowledging their mistake. They even blamed me for not informing earlier. I wasn't expecting to be cheated like this, otherwise I would have been cautious. It was my mistake ultimately according to them. They haven't acknowledged guide mistake till now. Please choose your travel agents carefully.

Throughout our travels, we were continually impressed by the pristine environment.
