About Druk Trek Path in Paro

One of the finest treks in Bhutan, Druk path trek is a must try for all the tourists. Among the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas, find yourself some peaceful time and make way for trekking. With the Druk path trek map in one hand, go ahead and explore the hidden beauty of a place with temples and landscapes around you. The Druk trekking path connects the valleys of Paro and Thimpu, leading through an ancient route of trade.

Walking through the apple orchards and pine forests, witness the mesmerizing beauty of Mount Jumolhari on the way to Druk path trek Bhutan. Surrounded by beautiful lakes and snowy mountains, you can enjoy trekking with a sense of peace and serenity. Ideally, it is better to start the trek from Paro, but you can also start it from Thimpu.

The distance between the rest camps is fairly short. Therefore, the trek isn’t that tough. You can also enjoy the stunning view offered by Mt. Gangkar Puensum, highest unscaled peak in the world. Also, there will be a number of temples and dzongs that you can visit on the way. • Trip to Bhutan

Our trip was good, except for the hotel rules which asked us to return to hotel early. Hotel Tsheringma, in phuentsholing was very bad, the owner asked us to get out of the hotel on the last night, his behaviour was not at all proffesional. During the dinner, the first 5 members out of 15 started first, after 15 mins when the other 10 members came in, we were told that the chicken curry is finished, cannot get more. When we argued that how can 5 people eat chicken for 15 people, then they gave us more chicken. In the morning some of our members did not get omlete in breakfast stating the same reason. Vehicle was Toyota Avance which was arranged against Creta/Innova Driver Mr Wangchuk is very humble and good person very polite feel good with him. He is not a professional guide but being a local he has good knowledge of area and is a gem of a person. Hotel Thimphu best Paro Good (Power cut for a Hour) Pheuntsholing okay Valley was readily available for any issues in the trip and are friendly. Bhutanese Charge for drinking water everywhere even in hotels. Plan easy don't try covering too much.
