Trip to BhutanDinner at hotels are very expensive whereas I have seen most of travel agents had arranged brake fast and dinner at hotels only. In one hotel they are demanding USD 56 per head ( for dinner). Appreciate if travel agent include dinners in package. Buddha idol in Thimphu.
Trip to BhutanThanks to AD Bhutan tours for making this trip memorable. Their service is really good and quick. Both Ms. Saraswati and Mr. DB Gurung were constantly in touch and checking if we need anything. We did face few hiccups in our hotel accommodation however the team instantly looked for an alternative. My suggestions have been taken very positively and I bet it's only going to get better. The driver assigned to us Mr Phuntsho was fabulous and professional. Overall a very good experience and would definitely recommend the future travellers of Bhutan to travel with them. Tip 1: instead of flying directly to Paro , i would recommend a road trip from Phuentsholing rather the journey is picturesque. Also the souvenirs are much cheaper in p'ling compared to any other city. Tip 2: Indian currencies are accepted here upto denomination of 500INR. Tip 3: Definitely indulge in local food if you are a foodie (Check out Zombala or simply bhutan in Thimpu) Tip 4: Cut some slack. Locals are very helpful, in case if the staff in your hotel is getting confused with your requirement explain it to them calmly with a wide smile and they are happy to help.
Trip to BhutanLet me thank Ms Sushmita from travel triangle to plan and coordinate my trip to Bhutan and also Mr Hari of Bhutan INC for making my stay and travel very comfortable. Would definitely go ahead with travel triangle for my upcoming trips
Trip to BhutanI had a wonderful experience with sunshine travels. Although I had done booking a month back, but just before a couple of days it was informed that border gates will be closed owing to general elections happening in West Bengal. Still Lalit ensured to get necessary approvals so that we have a smooth entry in Bhutan. He was very supportive and available at all times. In fact there was some issue in arranging vehicle (wagon R) in bhutan so Lalit informed me from beforehand that he might have to book a bigger vehicle (creta) for which i will have to pay some marginal amount more and only if I confirm he will book it. Driver Namgay who was also a tour guide was phenomenal. He showed us around , guided us and even when we decided to include Punakha town in our trip besides earlier planned Thimphu and Paro, he was very accommodative. His pleasant personality and hospitality added to the charm during the trip. Honestly speaking, I had booked first time from travel triangle through a local agent ( all previous trips were through MMT , Thomas Cook etc) but this time my dates were not matching so I decided to do it through travel triangle and sunshine travels. I am really happy for this decision as it turned out to be a memorable trip. Hotels were good in Thimphu and Paro and Phuntshoeling hotel was decent considering the place. I will recommend sunshine travel to anyone travelling to Bhutan.
Trip to BhutanWe had an amazing first anniversary trip in Bhutan. Thanks to Travel Triangle and Bhutan INC, we had a wonderful experience!! -Hotel Druk gifting us complimentary wine and cake on our anniversary. -The driver, Bhadra who was really caring and courteous always making sure we had new waterbottles every day
Trip to BhutanTravel agent messed up with Bhutan permit. A day was wasted and had to hustle up in line for the permit. Other than that, driver and car was good, guide was a bit less informed. Hotels were good. All itinerary was covered even when we lost a day, and a few extra places as well.
Trip to BhutanNearly organized. Courteous and caring tour guides. Hygienic tasty food. Clean, pollution free, happy country with smiling people. Hike to Tiger Monastery, stay in the Kicchu resort and massage in Udumwara resort were the highlights.
Trip to BhutanGood. Stay in Hotel Ramada, trekking to Tiger's Best and visit to Buddha's monastery.
Trip to BhutanPunakha hotel was a disaster. Items sold in different places of bhutan are all supplied from jaigaon. Rate are more cheper in jaigaon. Drivers are local person. They should communicate these to the trourists.
Trip to BhutanThe travel agent took care of the problems that we faced immediately. Overall the trip was good. It was a short trip of 3 days. We tried to enjoy as much as we could. The breakfast in Shelgoen hotel and Town View Hotel was very good.
