Best Time To Visit Dochula Pass

The best time to visit Dochula Pass is September to December. During the autumn-winter season, the sky is completely clear, and one can feel the chill up there. During December, one can enjoy the Wangyel festival at Dochula as well. Otherwise, there is no such fixed timing for the pass. The chortens and the temple closes at sundown.

Great combination of hotels and homestay and the hosts everywhere were caring and helpful with all our needs and also the stays were clean and comfortable with awesome views of the valleys. Visited Thimpu, Punakha, Phobjikha and Paro and ended our last day with a eventful trek to Tiger's Nest. Tried local dishes as per the recommendations and it was a great experience.
