About Saqqara Necropolis in Egypt
It is a huge ancient burial ground which is in Egypt. It serves as the necropolis for the former capital of Ancient Egypt. The pyramids here includes the most amazing Step Pyramid of Djoser. It is sometimes referred to as the Step Tomb due to its rectangular base. It is located in the lower region of Egypt and is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

One of the best attractions of this place is Step Pyramid of Saqqara, which is actually an archeological remain in the land of Saqqara necropolis. As it was built in 27th century BC, there are a lot of myths and historical facts that attract people to visit this place in huge numbers, and some Saqqara tours concentrate on this pyramid because of its popularity and sightseeing. Then there is Mastaba Tomb in Saqqara; this is a flat-roofed and rectangular shaped tomb with inward sloping sides which were constructed with mud bricks. It is a sort of ancient Egyptian tomb.
