How To Reach Egypt From Bangalore

The airline carriers of Middle-East like Emirates, Etihad, Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air, Oman Air, some Indian airlines like Air India and Jet Airways and the country’s carrier Egypt Air are the ones who usually ferry passengers from Bangalore to Egypt. Since the only nonstop flight between India and Egypt is from Mumbai, all the flights from Bangalore have one-stop journeys – most with stopovers in cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Kuwait City.

By Air: Cairo International Airport is the one with the most number of inbound flights from India. The fastest flight from Bangalore to Egypt is to Cairo via Dubai, by Emirates. It takes 9 hours 5 minutes to go. The next best option is by Etihad, which takes 9 hours 40 minutes via Abu Dhabi. Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air and Oman Air have flights via Kuwait City, Muscat and Bahrain. As far as other Egyptian cities are concerned, flights to most of them go via Cairo. So it would be wise to make Cairo your first stop and then go to other cities by road, rail or cruise.

By Road: It is not possible to traverse the 5000+ km distance between Egypt and Bangalore via the roadway, nor will you get easy permission to cross that many borders.

By Rail: Bangalore and Egypt are not connected via railway, but within the country, there is a well-established railway network system.
