How to reach The British Museum in London

The nearest underground stations to British Museum are Tottenham Court Road that is 500 meters away, Holborn Station that is about 500 meters far away, and the Russell Square and Goodge Street stations which are about 800 meters away from the museum.

The nearest bus stop to the museum in New Oxford Street and the buses which stop here are 1, 8, 98, 19, 38, 25, 55, and 242.  Further, the northbound stop that is on Tottenham Court Road and Gower Street, include the buses of route number 14, 10, 24, 73, 134, 29, and 390. The Santander Cycle Hire is another route that is the nearest docking station to the museum gate.
