Do you know anyone who has been to Amsterdam, and didn’t quite like it? Well, in all honesty, we haven’t seen someone like that ever. Amsterdam is a beautiful city with narrow houses, pretty canals, flowers, cute bridges, a myriad of cycles, and an exceptionally relaxed and liberal culture.
For every 20 and 30 something travelers, it is the ideal gateway to Europe whenever they start their Euro trip. Amsterdam is indeed a gorgeous city. You just cannot resist yourself from clicking a hundred pictures, when here. Moreover, Amsterdam’s beauty is just not limited to its beautiful tourist attractions. The fact that it has something for every type of traveler makes our Amsterdam Family Packages so popular. Further, it has a myriad of research institutes, universities, academics, and abundant cultural centers, various entertainment venues, theatres, and over 40 museums and theatres. All of this, make Amsterdam a hub for recreation. So, try out a few of the 100 things to do available in Amsterdam and enjoy a full-filled time on your holiday here.

How To Reach

By Flight

You can reach Amsterdam via a flight to Schiphol International Airport. Located 15 km from the main city, it is one of the busiest airports in the world which is connected to almost all the cities of the world.

By Bus

You can get a bus to Amsterdam from all the major European cities like Paris and London via Brussels.

By Train

Amsterdam is very well-connected to all the major cities of Europe via train. You can find a high-speed rail to Amsterdam from London, Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, and Berlin.

By Road

The roads in Amsterdam are pretty smooth. However, driving is not the best way to enter the city as the roads are usually one-way and the parking facilities are bad.

Best Time To Visit

The best time to book your Amsterdam package mostly depends on what your expectations are as a tourist. Though summertime is popular amongst the tourists, Amsterdam is mostly fun all-round the year. The sunny weather in July and August is very preferable. However, in Amsterdam, the cultural season is from September to May. From mid-April to mid-May, the tulips and the flowers are in full bloom. Winters, though mild, tend to get colder and wet at times. So, if you plan a visit during the winter, come prepared.

Places To Visit

The Rijksmuseum

Founded in 1809, The Rijksmuseum is one of the most popular attractions of Amsterdam. It is indeed a crucial art repository and is home to some of the rare collectibles of the country. You should visit the museum, while cherishing your Amsterdam family package, to get an insight into the history of the country.

Anne Frank Museum

It is a beautiful museum dedicated to the world's best-known Holocaust victims. This is the actual home where the family of Anne hid for much of WWII. Much of the home has been retained as it is, and it is a poignant reminder of that tragic phase of history.

Van Gogh Museum

Commenced in 1972, the Van Gogh Museum has been one of the most spectacular attractions of Amsterdam since then. The museum is dedicated to Van Gogh, who is one of the country’s most celebrated painters. It has some of his finest paintings and artifacts, most of which is donated by his brother and other family members.

Jordaan

One of the most prominent neighborhoods of Amsterdam, Jordan is famous for its fine amalgam of garden courtyards, residential areas, eateries, and upscale boutiques.

Dam Square

One of the most tourist-packed areas, Dam Square is known for its Royal Palace, which is a former home to the Dutch royal family. Even today, a lot of royal functions are conducted here. Other top attractions of the place include Madame Tussauds wax museum, New Church, and the National Memorial Statue. Ferris Wheel is another attraction of the place.

Dilip's 10 days trip to Switzerland

It was third time that we were dealing with Travel Triangle. With very good response and prope & in time help , we could enjoy all three international tours. 6 to 14 April 2024 - 2 Nights Amsterdam and 6 Nights Swiss Customized tour - Thanks to Travel Triangle, especially Mr Maulik sir for untiring help and quick response. He was all the time ready to guide when needed. Flight, hotel and Swiss travel pass booking and Visa help were properly done. Suggestion - 1. As one plans customized and travels for first time, travel agent can suggest changes with his/ her experience about that particular place. Ground level facts may be different. 2. In Amsterdam though Tulip Experience was included in plan, it was not shown ( which we really needed) Please see that travel agency there do what is planned. 1. Trail walk in Grindelwald and Lauterbrunn. 2. Cruise trip in Lucerne with accidental ( unplanned) visit to Mt Riggi. Enjoyed Mt train.

Monika's 7 days trip to Europe

Advice ppl to keep max 7 day trip as more than 7 nights it become tiring. Kuwait airlines is not very good, have lot of delays , food also is very average. Activities like hop on hop off should be done on non travelling day and agent should plan them accordingly. Brussels hotel was not a very good one. average rooms and cleanliness. Bruge and Gent day tour was great. Brussels atomium museum was good, can include few more museums with atomium as it not more than 3 hrs activity. Mini europe is mostly for ppl of young age. Amsterdam was great in terms of activities we were able to do. Night pass was completely unusable, most of night clubs were permanently closed or temporarily closed, pls update the list and give the surely open on top. Country side tour was great. Paris hop on hop off is good too but not all location are worthy to visit at all. Cruise activity free with hop on hop off bus tour is very average, long waiting time with normal cruise. Not a very good activity as per my experience. Better to find some other activities in Paris. Paris hotel location was not best , was able to find hotel near to center in same price.

Indian Holiday Options had provided me with the best quote and best options as per my requirements. Overall experience was smooth right from visa booking assistance to travel assistance , hotel booking, flight booking, tickets to sightseeing, Eurorail tickets. Travel associate Prashant was very helpful. He was always reachable and was able to resolve the issues quickly. We did not face any major issues. However, few feedbacks on the hotel. Hotel Art de congress in Paris was not upto the mark. The staff was not helpful. Our room AC did not work. Even after complaining for 2 days they never corrected it. Also the toaster in the brekfast room was not working and even after complaining they did not correct it for 2 days. We had pathetic experience at this hotel. Other hotels were fine. We recommend hub holidays and Prashanth for the europe trips. Thank you for making our trip the memorable one. Aayush's 6 days trip to Greece

Firstly, thank you very much Rohit and Prashant in helping us have a great experience during our stay in Paris, Brussels & Amsterdam. The whole experience was really great right from the beginning until the end of the trip. Rohit helped us get good price for the trip, which included the hotel stay and sight seeing, the hotel was more then enough for a couple with the staff being really nice and friendly an was accessible to most of the train and bus stations. He also helped us getting the tickets for most of the sight seeing. Rohit & Prashant was always reachable at any given time and assisted in all possible way. Thought it was a hectic trip but Rohit had helped us with the above things as we wanted to do everything. Also unexpectedly there was a situation with us, Etihad airways were not able to issue our return boarding pass due to Jet Airways(which is closed company) connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai. Special thanks to Prashant, he sorted things with Etihad Airways(IST midnight) and got us seats on next connecting flight to India from Abu Dhabi. Really thank you Rohit & Prashant for supporting us throughout the trip and I would really want to approach him in future. Very disappointed with Travel Triangle service, specially with Prabhakar Choudhary and entire Travel Triangle team. Not able approachable when needed and none had picked up call in emergency. Regards, Aayush

Abhijeet's 7 days trip to Europe

It was our bachelors trip before marriage , and we had an unforgettable trip to Spain . SHUBHAM was a really great and helpful person , who managed all our bookings and planned our day to day activities on our trip . SHUBHAM and PRASHANT became my friend , i also dont know how this bond created , even we did not know each other face to face . Someone has rightly said Your behavior should demonstrate you . We are on a long travel for 9N 10D . We visited Madrid , Zaragoza , Seville , Malaga , Ibiza and Amsterdam . Truly speaking this was our best trip with my friends . We did scuba diving and Enjoyed nightlife of amsterdam and done many more activities . In starting we booked the hotel , but after visa we told Shubham not to book hotels as were not sure how many days we will stay at particular place , Shubham and Prashant was so humble in nature they agreed our opinion and they suffered loss due to cancellation of hotel at the end movement they Cancelled the hotel and refund the hotel amount , They provided there service by going out of box which is rare for any travel agent and for this I really appreciate Prahant and Shubham . They also helped us in getting visa , which is very tough for bachelors to get visa . Shubham helped very well in assistance of visa formalities also . In the end i can only say Good work guys, keep it up and Thanks again for the wonderful experience we had with you. Shubham and Prashant I am sure to continue this bond in the upcoming travels with you .
