Board a Metro
Metro is one the quickest means of transports to reach Centre Pompidou. The closest metro station is Rambuteau from where can either walk or board a taxi to reach the Centre Pompidou. One can also board a metro from other metro stations like Moulin Rouge (M1, M2, M11, M13 in 25 min), Galeries Lafayette Haussmann (M3, M7, M9, M11 in 22 min), Place de Clichy (M1, M2, M9, M11, M13 in 27 min), Louis Vuitton (M1, M11 and RER A in 25 mins) or from Gare SNCF de Paris Lyon (M1, M11 M14 in 24 min) respectively, as per your location. Do buy a pass of 10 tickets to prevent those long queues. The metro tickets can be used to board a bus or a cable car also.
Travel by Bus
If you want to tour the city via a public transport and are cool with the heavy traffic then bus is the option for you. Both public and private as well as direct buses halt at the Centre Pompidou. AirFrance Bus has a day pass to reach the major tourist attractions of the city. There are also buses from Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Gare SNCF de Paris Lyon, Place de Clichy, Moulin Rouge or Louis Vuitton to the Centre of Pompidou.
If coming from the Hotel de Ville side, one can board a taxi at 6€ and reach the Centre Pompidou in just two minutes. For people coming from other parts of the city can either go for a taxi, cab or rent a car to reach the place with ease. Check the local taxi/cab apps for rates from your respective locations. Ensure reserving a parking slot at the Centre as the place is heavily crowded.
Rent a Bicycle
Reaching the Centre Pompidou by bicycle is another best way to explore the city. There are many Velib stations providing bicycles on rent in Paris. You get both normal or electric cycles on a half day, 8 hours, 24 hours basis with an extension, costing 12€, 15€ or 20€ respectively. Electric cycles can be hired at a price double to tat incurred for ordinary ones.
Walk your way
Another way to reach Centre Pompidou is on foot. Though time consuming, it will give you a chance to stroll through the beautiful boulevards of Paris and embrace the Parisian way of life.
