The Kutch festival that occurs every year in the month of December and January, has made this destination very popular attracting both domestic and international visitors to be a part of this festival. The colours of the festival set a contrasting backdrop to the white sands of the desert. Kutch as a destination is famous for handcrafted items like bags, clothes and some artificial jewellery with the local flavours. The distance between Bhuj and Rann of Kutch is about 100 kilometres. It can take up to 12 hours to cover Ahmedabad to Little Rann of Kutch distance by road. If one is planning to visit from Ahmedabad, then here are the various modes of transport available:

Ahmedabad to Kutch by Air: There are about two flights flying out of Ahmedabad to Bhuj every day. There are no airports in Kutch hence, the airport in Bhuj is nearest airport to Kutch. One can easily find taxis from Bhuj Airport to reach Kutch.

Ahmedabad to Kutch by Train: There are no direct trains from Ahmedabad to Rann of Kutch. If you are planning train travel from Ahmedabad to Kutch, you can board one of the few trains between Ahmedabad and Bhuj. Since there are no railway stations at Kutch, one can easily travel from Ahmedabad to Bhuj by train which takes about 5 Hours 30 Minutes, and thereafter book a cab to Kutch. The distance between the two destinations is short and hence a train journey is highly convenient and equally fun.

Ahmedabad to Kutch by Road: Ahmedabad to Kutch is a highly leisure drive for every traveller. The distance between the two destinations stands at about 334 Kilometres which can be easily covered in a time span of about 9 Hours. The road journey from Ahmedabad to Kutch is fun as there are plenty of roadside eateries serving the local food of the region. If you are travelling with a family of kids and elderly, then travelling from Ahmedabad to Kutch is the most sensible option. I have booked first time through Travel triangle. I was good experience however pre trip i have to co-ordinate with the travel agent Inland Tourway several times. Mr. Vikas was the co-ordinator for trip booking he suggested me good trip plan howeven if i need some changes in the trip then we have t

o take followup from him again and again and most of the time he does not response quickly may be he call after one to two days also some times he does not response on whatsapp also . Still after completing my trip he has not received my call also no reply on whatsapp for GST invoice. In short i would like to say that even if you are good but you should be quick responsive at least . Also At least call to your customer during trip at least once so that customer feel that you are good in your work and also care your customer. I also did not received any call during the trip so it feels like we were solely dependent on the cab driver for all good and bad.

In indore Aceteol tulsi hotel was not good and in Ujjain also (Kalpana palace) not so good . Other than that everything was nice and well organized.

The hotels were good. We were disappointed with breakfast at Dwarka hotel. Also we had to walk long to visit Dwarkadhish temple which was not comfortable at all. As the cab dropped us 1km away from twmple though 4 wheelers were going till bottom of temple. Somnath and Gir were good. The overall trav

el became hectic due to multiple visiting points which was not needed. Porbandar was very dirty and it could have been avoided in itenary. Gir stay, food and safari.
