How to Reach Bhuj Chattardi in Kutch

The Bhuj Chattardi is a cenotaphs complex located in at the outskirts of Bhuj.

Set in sprawling grounds, this complex is an ode to an era gone by.

To Bhuj via train

There are seven major trains which stop at the Bhuj station, The Pune Bhuj express, The Ala Hazrat Express, the Be Bhuj Express, the BDTS Bhuj Express and the Kutch Express. Easy access is possible form across India to Bhuj via these trains.

To Bhuj Via Air

Located about three kilometres out of the town, The Bhuj Airport is a one runway airport. It is connected by Jet Airways and Air India to all major Indian Towns. There are plenty taxis which will take you to your destination within Bhuj.

To Bhuj via road

The Gujarat State Transport system runs regular buses between all major cities and minor towns in the state and Bhuj. Private operators also ply luxury buses between all major points in the state. If not for them, then there are private taxis which can be hires to take you across destinations for a nominal price.

How to reach Bhuj Chattardi.

Travel to Bhuj between October and March as the temperatures will be moderate. Reaching the Chattardi is relatively easy as they are easy to find. Hire an auto rickshaw to take you to the site at a very nominal price.

Overall it was a very good trip, we were able to cover most of the places mentioned on the itinerary. Well planned and executed. Somnath and Gir was a very good experience. Dwarka was not that much good due to rush and crowd mismanagement. Transportation : Was very good, driver was very much helpful and understanding. Hotels : Dwarka, Somnath were exceptionally well with good restaurants. i would rate 4/5 for those places. Resort in Gir was not so good compared to other two places, ambience was great but room , pool were not so good. i would rate 2/5 due to cleanliness issues and restaurant not taking any orders was just having common buffet. Staff were helpful in all places, would rate 4/5.

Had a good experience for sightseeing areas of Gujarat and found it extra convenient and comfortable in Kia Carens. Driver was also good.. And special thanks to Payal madam for helping out in making itineraries. Hotels and their service were good except Shlok In where food service was not satisfactory otherwise it was nice. Just few suggestions it would be good if we can get an ordered list of places as per route with their timings. Because many places had their timings. Also, one will get an idea where to reach on which time and how much time to spend on particular spot.
