Next, board a flight to Chandigarh that takes around 1 hour. From here, you can now travel in a cab or taxi to Shimla. This journey will take about an hour and 45 minutes in total.

Pune To Shimla By Rail

If you are traveling by train, you will have to take the Nzm Duronto Express from Pune to New Delhi, as there are no direct trains between the two. Next, take the Hrtc from New Delhi to Shimla and enjoy a grand holiday. This total journey takes about 32 hours.

Pune To Shimla By Road

For those traveling by road, there are no direct buses between Pune and Shimla. You can take a bus from Pune to Ahmedabad that takes around 10 hours. Next, take a bus to Delhi that will take about 16 hours. From here, you can travel by bus or taxi till Shimla and the journey will  take about 11 hours. The total journey takes around 37 hours.
