Mysore Honeymoon Packages

Mysore is a beautiful city in Karnataka, famous for its gorgeous ornate palaces, lush gardens and cultural heritage. The city has been graced with the moniker of “City of Palaces”, thanks to the spectacular Mysore Palace, which stands tall and proud in the heart of the city and dazzles with its lights in the evenings.
It is the perfect destination for everybody, but it is even more so for honeymooners who are looking to get away from the hustle bustle of daily life and find themselves surrounded by breathtaking beauty and a rich cultural heritage. Booking a Mysore honeymoon package is a good idea for those who are looking to enjoy a grand vacation with the love of their life. The city is perched on the foothills of Chamundi Hills, and is famed for having a salubrious climate almost all through the year.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to avail well planned Mysore honeymoon packages is during the winter season, when the weather is pleasant and sightseeing is a breeze. The monsoons are also a good time to visit the city, since the rains provide a lot of relief from the oppressive tropical heat of the city.

Summer:

The summer season in Mysore lasts from April to June, and it is not a good time to visit the city because of the intense heat and humidity. Sightseeing during the day won’t be possible during the day, and the nights are too balmy to roam the city. On the other hand, if you do want to visit Mysore in the summers, you are sure to get a lot of discounts on accommodation and sightseeing packages, since this is the low tourist season here.

Winter:

The winter season in Mysore lasts from October to March, and it is the most pleasant time that the city witnesses. The average temperature here during this time stays within 15 to 18 degree celsius, which is perfect for a day out in the many gardens of Mysore. There are plenty of open air festivals and events being held here during this time, from food festivals to musical events. It is the perfect time to avail honeymoon packages for Mysore.

Monsoon:

The months of July to September bring with them the monsoon season to Mysore. Although the temperature remains between 20 to 30 degree celsius, the rains and the cool breeze provide instant relief from heat and humidity. The city, after the rains, becomes even more verdant and beautiful. This, too, actually, is a good time to avail Mysore Couple tour packages.

How to Reach

By Air:

Mysore does have its own airport, but it offers limited connectivity only. There are no direct flights to Mysore from the major cities of the country such as Kolkata, Mumbai or Delhi. However, there are connecting flights easily available from almost all parts of the country, and direct flights to Mysore are available from Goa, Bangalore and Kochi.

By Train:

This is the cheapest way to get to Mysore, and there are plenty of trains connecting the Mysore Railway Station to the rest of the state and country. You can take a cab or an auto to get from the railway station to other parts of the city.

By Road:

The highways connecting Mysore to the rest of the state and the country are actually pretty well maintained and in good condition. Driving to the city can be a treat thanks to the scenic view, although it might take longer than a train journey or a flight. There are also private and state-run buses available easily.

Alokananda's 5 days trip to Tamil Nadu

We had a very pocket-friendly trip at Coorg and Ooty, thanks to Travel Triangle for arranging such a wonderful trip. The timings were perfect coinciding with the nature's intricate way of displaying it's beauty throughout our trip. We started our trip from B'lore to Coorg and reached our destination at night due to traffic along the way but the Jungle Hill Resort was mesmerizing and quite well kept with a 4-bedded deluxe room. We visited the spectacular Golden Temple or one of the largest Tibetan Monastery which is also known as Namdroling Monastery. It encompasses the large school for the young monks and bave beautiful small cafes and eateries and souvenir shops for the tourist to check out. We found it had a beautiful view of the jungle and mountain view in the morning. The food was on the expensive side but we had breakfast buffet included in our package. Abbey Falls and the views of the meadows of Mandal petti were breathtaking. At Puspagiri National Park, it didn't feel like we were in India that showcased the best views of Nilgiri Hills adorned with the Nilkurungi plants. Rest of the places to visit were good but their slight overpriced such as Coffee Plantation tour, Dubbare Elephant Camp. Our hotels rooms at Ooty were disappointing. Rooms received from Kemp's Cave at their neighbouring building called The Baron's who gave us rooms with dirty linens, broken window lock, malfunctioning bathroom door and intercom. It was difficult to communicate with hotel staff although the reception staff were fast in sending help. Only the linens were changed and bathroom door was fixed. Rest were not fixed during our two days stay. The sightseeing was very good especially what made our day was the toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor. The whole place was standstill due to traffic during public holiday so we had to resort to walking down the hill to reach the Ugadamandalam Railyway Station in Ooty. Pykara Falls and Lake, Wenlock Downs are picturesque places to remember in this trip. We opted out to visit Tea Factory and Doddabetta Peak due to heavy traffic. Mr. Rahul Kumar from All India Holiday has helped us before and throughout our trip to customise it and with payments at every juncture to make it a hassle-free ordeal. He have been very hospitable, content and patient in managing our trip . Travel Triangle and team has yet again made it possible for us to collect the best memories from hills of Ooty and Coorg. The best part of this trip was the journey through Bandipur Tiger Reserve and Madumalai Tiger Reserve when heading towards Ooty from Coorg via Bangalore-Mysore-Ooty Highway. We were surprised to spots innumerous deers, peacock, peahens, monkeys, wild Elephants and Giant Indian Squirrels. The reserves are well maintained with strict rules that are followed while traveling through them. We were lucky to get the glimpse of this reserve twice and both the times we have got to spot the animals.

Khajawaseem's 4 days trip to Tamil Nadu

Our trip was overall comfortable, but we did encounter a few hiccups along the way. Unfortunately, we missed the safari due to a delay and lack of clear communication from the driver. Additionally, we were charged for parking and tolls at some locations that weren’t mentioned in the itinerary, and the driver took longer routes to avoid tolls, which resulted in us missing a few planned stops. The Mysore hotel was excellent, offering a pleasant stay, but the Ooty hotel was just average. While the trip wasn’t a disaster, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. It was acceptable, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

The overall experience of trip was excellent except stay at Mysore in Hotel Sandesh the prince. The property is old, bathrooms water supply is faulty. In both taps of shower, only hot water was coming. We changed our room and problem persist in changed room also. The process of shifting and experimenting of repair activities had taken away lot of valuavle time of us. We suggest you should delist this property.

Shivanshu's 4 days trip to Tamil Nadu

Our Driver Harsha Vardhan assigned for the entire trip did an amazing job. Special appreciation to him for making our trip memorable and easy. Our package was good but the itinerary could have been better with Coonoor toy train on last day rather than 3rd day as we had to comeback to Ooty all the way. And again go to the same route to reach Coimbatore airport. Hotel La Ruchi de Prince was very good including the wide range of delicious breakfast and the 5 star services. When we reached Hotel Kemps cave in Ooty on our 2nd day, we were shifted to Hotel Baron beside it but the rooms were good as per 3 star. But the food needs to be improved a lot as the dinner we had there was not that great. Due to which on 3rd day we had dinner at Anand Bhavan and it was super delicious. Overall it was a good experience and a memorable family trip. Ooty Lake boating was good. Pykara Waterfalls and lake can be avoided. Mysore palace was very photogenic. Mysore Zoo was good but you need atleast 2-3 hours to roam there.
