About Brindavan Gardens in Mysore
Located in the Mandya district of Karnataka, Brindavan Gardens are one of the most beautiful of terrace gardens in the world. A creative initiative taken by Sir Mirza Ismail resulted in this beautiful illuminated terrace garden.
The surrounding horticultural farms, botanical gardens, fountains, topiary works and the enchantingly beautiful Brindavan Gardens laid out in 3 terraces is sure to take one’s breath away. The architecture, resembling that of India Gate, lawns, rose gardens, and ornate trees which line the entrance, compliment the overall magnificence of the Brindavan Gardens.
Brindavan Gardens are located within the KRS Dam region. Maintained by the Cauvery Niravari Nigama, this beautiful garden spreads out to a stretch of 60 acres. The Brindavan Gardens are much more than just flower and plants. It is home to a number of attractions like children’s garden, rose garden, lake, horticultural farms, and illuminated fountains. The overall scenery of the garden makes it even more difficult for the visitors to choose what to visit first. The Brindavan Gardens lighting show and musical fountain show are one the experiences that one can’t afford to miss when visiting Mysore.
