Information about Bali

When a traveler thinks about Bali, green rice fields and sunny beaches are the first things that strike one’s mind.

It is one of the most favorite tourist destinations in South-east Asia, and one can explore amazing Bali holiday destinations. A Bali tour guide pamphlet will inform the visitors about all the different attractions to see. Here, in this Bali travel guide, get to know about the essential information necessary to make the trip worth the money and effort.

Bali Weather

Being a tropical country, Bali (Indonesia) weather is more or less hot and humid 365 days, but there are no extremities, and the climatic conditions are more or less stable. The temperature in Bali remains between 20°C and 33°C throughout the year. Bali receives monsoon during October to April, as it is in the southern hemisphere, though only by 8 degrees from the equator. Despite of heavy showers, Bali climate is quite suitable for year-round tourism.

Bali Street Food

Indonesia is a country famous for its street palate, and Balinese street food is among the best of South Asian cuisine. Bali holiday destination is not explored to its fullest unless diverse street food options are explored. Satay is a crowd-favorite and also a must-try dish when in Bali. Satay is minced meat, soaked in coconut milk and wrapped around sticks before grilling. Pisang Rai and Laklak are also great as quick snacks – both made from delicious combinations of tropical fruits like banana and coconut. Bakso is a perfect dish for small meals, comprising of noodles, broth, and meatballs. Tourists can enjoy all of these lip-smacking treats at roadside stalls, and occasionally off the pushing carts. A Bali guide also informs tourists about its varied flavors that should not be missed.

Bali Nightlife

Bali vacation guide will be incomplete without mentioning its nightlife. Besides being a center for natural rejuvenation, and art and culture, Bali is also known for its glamorous nightlife. There are many locations on a Bali map that pull crowds with their euphoric ambiances on a daily basis. Not just pubs and lounges, tourists can let their hair down and dance away to the beats at beach parties as well. The darkness and the salty mist of the sea add an edge to the ambiance which is not there at usual bars. Rooftop lounging is also a popular night-time activity, and so are traditional dance performances against majestic backgrounds of the temples.

Bali Shopping

Shopping in itself is one of the best attractions in Bali. The Ubud Market is the heartbeat of Bali, with shops selling everything from A to Z. Traditional art and craft items, wooden and bamboo carvings, scarves, sarongs and sashes, bags, jewelry, shirts and dresses and hats, trinkets, and every other souvenir  that one can think of can be bought from Bali. By carrying a Bali map one will know about  various places to go shopping in this Indonesian island.

Bali Culture

Fact that not many Bali travel guides will tell is how rich the island is in its art and culture. Though deep-rooted in traditional culture, the art of Bali is rustic yet sophisticated. From paintings and carvings to performing arts – Bali revels in everything. Folk dances of Bali are mostly taken from Hindu epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata but with Balinese influence, and are performed from time to time at the city square, public shows, and temple festivals. Pendet, Legong, Topeng, Baris, Kecak, which is the monkey dance, and many more like these are native dance forms of Bali. There is particular orchestra music called Gamelan, which is as enchanting as it is dynamic. These are some of the best attractions and help travelers know a bit more about Bali.

Other than that, Bali is also a paradise for adventure seekers. The beaches of Bali are perfect for all sorts of water sports – snorkeling, scuba diving, jet and water skiing, fly fishing and so on. Travelers should know all these information before drawing up their Bali itinerary, so that they can make the most of their Bali vacation and garner memories to cherish.

Yash's 7 days trip to Bali

Hi Team Had booked through TT as I had seamless experience in past, couple of poor experiences I had to face this time: 1. The first hotel Andakira, room given was very bad, although I had booked city view room, but got a backyard view room. 2. Airport pickup was delayed and we had to wait around half an hour outside airport 3. On one of the days we were not able to go to the 7 island tour as my wife was pregnant and team suggested not to go, I was compensated with avery poor 1.5 hour Krabi City Tour.

Lipika's 7 days trip to Bali

Our Bali trip for 7 days was a comfortable trip with Tour Hunters .It was a lot of fun- the driver was very good and sites choses were right on spot. The only thing of caution- plz book your own flight so you know what airlines you book and no surprises... Vietjet was awful in terms of service for sure!! i had to struggle with checkin and seat booking and i was not told about airlines till it was booked. Also i wish we did Ubud first and then kuta as returning from ubud to airport was a long trip and we hardly got any time left to go to lounge , eat and do any last minute shopping at the airport. it was such a touch and go from ubud to airport. Someone needed to have thought through this better!! Good points were- Ubud stay , currency support given , hotel booked .

Shilpi's 5 days trip to Bali

Hello, I just wanted to share my fantastic experience with Tour Hunters. The executives are truly professionals who handle customers with great politeness and care. They made us feel like family, guiding us every step of the way throughout our trip. One aspect I especially want to highlight is that they created a Whatsapp group and included their entire team, which was a game-changer. Anytime I had doubts or needed assistance, I could reach out, and they responded like friends—helping with any queries promptly and making sure we were comfortable at all times. The hotels they arranged were excellent, and the drivers were extremely polite and warm-hearted—truly like brothers to us. Their support and kindness made our trip even more memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend Tour Hunters to all my friends and family. When you plan your trip with them, you don’t have to worry about anything. They take care of everything with utmost professionalism.

Samiksha's 7 days trip to Bali

The overall experience was just about okay — not terrible, but definitely not what was promised or expected. While the itinerary was planned in advance, the car provided was far from luxury, despite prior assurance, and felt more like a basic taxi. The driver was polite but mostly functioning as a pick-and-drop resource, without any flexibility if we had to go somewhere else. Although he was very polite and very punctual. One of the most disappointing moments came on our last day, when we were headed to the airport for our return flight and the assigned cab had a flat tire. We had to urgently book another cab on our own to avoid missing our flight — something that should never happen with a managed tour. We were also told we would be added to a WhatsApp group before the trip for coordination, but no such group was ever created. On the day we visited Nusa Penida, we waited over an hour at the port without being able to reach any agent — in India, in Bali, or the driver. That part of the experience felt very poorly managed and left us feeling stranded. In summary, it was a 3-star experience — some things worked as per plan, but the service lacked warmth, flexibility, and responsiveness. With a few improvements in communication, car quality, and on-ground support, the experience could be significantly better.

Shruti's 6 days trip to Bali

The experience has been positive. However, I recommend a revised itinerary to ensure all planned locations are visited. Time constraints necessitated the omission of three locations. Best part is Bali swing, Handara Gate and Bird's park.
