How to Reach Pantheon Temple

The Pantheon temple is the most popular tourist attractions in Rome, Italy.

It is located in Piazza della Rotonda in the heart of Rome, just next to the Piazza della Rotonda Square. There are several ways on how to reach Pantheon, including using public transportation services such as an underground train and buses. You can also use a taxi, hire a rental car, or walk on foot.

Taking the underground train

One of the ways of reaching Pantheon is by taking an underground train. Taking the train is the best option if you are far from the temple. To reach Pantheon by train, simply take the Line A and alight at the Barberini station. The station is only a short distance away from the Pantheon temple (about 8 – 10 minutes’ walk).

Travelling by bus

Another great means on how to reach Pantheon is to take a bus. There are several buses from various locations around the city, which can take you to the Pantheon area. However, due to narrow streets, buses do not serve the Pantheon area. Therefore, most of the buses stop a distance away from the area, from where you will have to walk on foot. Fortunately, most of the bus stops are not that far, and you will only need to walk for around 5 minutes.

Taxis and car rentals

Just like most other cities in Europe, Rome has several taxi service providers. Therefore, you can hire a taxi to take you from any location in the city to the Pantheon temple. If you prefer moving around at your own convenience, you can also hire a car from one of the many rental agencies.

Walking on foot

One of the best ways of reaching Pantheon is to walk on foot. This gives you the perfect opportunity to check out several other attractions near the temple. For example, you can check out the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Piazza Navona, and other sights. Walking is also more convenient as you do not have to worry about expenses or the hassles of public transportation.

There are several ways on how to reach Pantheon while you are in Rome. From taking a train to traveling by bus, hiring a taxi, and walking, you have many choices. However, the best transportation means to use will largely depend on your preference and where you are located in the city.
