How to Reach Gianicolo Hill

Gianicolo Hill is one of the favorite places of tourists visiting the beautiful capital of Italy. If you want to feel the beauty of the other side of Rome, then make sure you visit this place once. It is located exactly between the Vatican and the Trastevere. As this is one of the highest points of Rome, its sightseeing includes various famous historic and religious monuments as well.

If you really want to reach the summit by foot, it will be a great decision. You can also choose cycling other than walking. You will always see some group cycling, jogging, and enjoying their time. The night sight is awesome. There are many hotels near the Gianicolo Hills to stay. Some of the best attractions of Rome are The Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Vatican Museum.

If you are not aware of how to reach Gianicolo Hill, you must search for them before commencing the trip. Travelling in the other city can be difficult sometimes. A map is always recommended to avoid confusion.

By foot: You have to start the trip from San Angelo Castle on the banks of the Tiber River. The climb starts from Via Urbano VIII through a relatively steep incline. It is about a 1-hour walk to reach the final summit. Despite being a tiring journey, Gianicolo Hill is an enjoyable trip.

By bus: Most of the buses run from Trastevere, so you have to reach this point before reaching the hill. There are electric buses, which keep on running between these stations. There are different numbers of buses that you can search on Google for the different places.

By Taxi: It is the best and most convenient way of traveling. It is very comfortable for people having some heavy carry-bags. You can always book a cab or taxi on your mobile and you can also ask your hotel manager to book one.

I was not happy with how few things were co -ordinated . Received the vouchers end moment leaving very little time to review . Infact the train voucher for venice was created for station very far off my hotel while there was a sation just at the walking distance (100m) from my hotel. I had to bear a

n expense of 50 Euro unnecessarlity for the transfer to hotel from station and i expected atleast a partial refund of my loss which never happened . Also, I had paid for the airport transfer for my return flight and its yet not reimbursed or acknowledged over mail. I just hada verbal and wats app communictaion with Yusuf. Regarding the entry tickets- considering Italy was extremely hot Collosium entry tickets were for 12pm noon , it could have been booked for an early evening or morning , I had to skip it as it was unabearbly hot . And there were lot of other gaps which i think should have been well communicated and discussed with me before they purchased the tickets (entry tickets)
