How To Reach Kateel Durga Parameshwari Temple

The Sri Durga Parameshwari temple in Kateel is situated on an islet in the middle of the sacred river Nandini. For those wondering how to reach the Kateel Durga Parameshwari temple, the best way is to travel by road from any nearby town, Railway station or airport. The nearest railway station is Mulki, 11 kms from Kateel. Mangalore junction, 28 kms away, is connected to all major cities of the country. The nearest airport is the Mangalore International Airport, 16 kms away. Regular buses, both private and government, operate from Mangalore as well as other towns in Karnataka to Kateel via SH 67. One can also hire a taxi or auto rickshaw from Mangalore to reach this temple. A small Bridge connects the mainland to the temple islet.
