Timings Of Mysore Zoo

The animals remain in hibernation for most of winters and summers and thus, the best time to visit Mysore zoo would be the rainy season i.e. around June to September.

The zoo remains open on all days except Tuesday. Mysore zoo timings on all working days is from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. The birds are active in the morning hours and the mammals are active after 3 p.m. So, it is best to visit either in the morning or in the evening because most of the animals remain inactive between this period. Plan to arrive early in the day and spend the time looking at the birds and reptiles. Afterwards, move towards the bigger enclosures with mammals, some of whom might be shy or just taking shelter.

Overall well planned . We didn't face any issue. Driver was good but cab (innova)was very old one . As we were travelling in hilly areas and it was rainy season and in some place the visibility was not that good; the car front glass was not clear as it was a very old car and ac was not that good.

We found the responsiveness and speed in answering our queries became really slow after the full payment. Also driver beta is part of the pa ka

ge, yet We had to pay for Drivers lunch and dinner every day which costed around 1500 for 3 days. Pls educate ur agents to convey the message to drivers.
